Man I love this game and have been playing it since before it got out of early access. The game was progressing nicely and got up to a very good state, until the latest major update (AKA the console version) happened.

Honestly, I don't care much about the censored stuff except for like one or two cases (while absolutely not like it happening). Furthermore, really like that they reduced the game install size, and the two new free maps and guns are much appreciated.

What I care about though is the fact that the game is just busted now. The graphical downgrade is insane. Shadow quality is clearly lowered. Glass doesn't break piece by piece when shot like before. The lighting not only feels flatter somehow, but it is so messed up in many of the levels that it's unacceptable. Just load the Three Letter Triad map and you can see the lighting on half of the doors in this level are ruined now. Much of the vegetation on maps like Carriers of the Vine is removed. Smoke grenades also are just not working anymore, and suspects don't react as much to being shot anymore for some reason? Also I have seen suspects getting stuck in hiding spots more than ever before.

It's hard for me to believe the devs did much play-testing on this version, or even worse, they maybe thought people somehow wouldn't notice? Either way, this is a bad look for Void Interactive.

I have no idea how they made a game with solid foundations and messed it up so badly in one update. This feels almost like a different (worse) game now. I can't recommend the game in its current state to anyone.

The only game in my life I've intentionally got all the achievements for... That alone could tell you how much I adore this game.
Probably replayed it like 5 times on PS4, and now 3 times on PC, and I know I'll replay it even more times in the future.
It feels like I'm the only person that would have loved to be able to play the survival mode on PC...

For the past decade or so, racing games have been weirdly dismissed by the general population. But I personally always felt like there is a sense of innocence and simplicity in racing games and doubly so in Need For Speed games that I adored, and turns out I still very much do.
This game has a lot of flaws, graphics can look atrocious in daytime due to terrible implementation of TAA and is unreasonably heavy on the system in the meantime. Cop chases early on in the game are insanely difficult, and even at the end game, it seems like there is a mechanic like the pursuit breakers of older Black Box NFS games that is missing from this game. Story has its moments, even though can be pretty forgettable overall, but it seems like they're really trying, so i would never say they should stop. The open-world music is pretty bad too, although garage music is acceptable.
Ultimately, I enjoyed the package, when I accepted the poor performance, poor daytime graphics, and turned off the open world music and put on my own. Oh and try putting on race tires so you can actually drive your car rather than having to break to drift in every corner.

Replayed this game for like the fifth time because of its 10th anniversary, and it still puts shivers down my spine. Chose the FUBAR difficulty and although it was really brutal, it was so worth it. It actually put me in the mindset of walker himself. I was frustrated just like him. As i was trying to reload in the heat of battle i was echoing his statement: "Reload ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!" or when enemies shot me i was as angry as him.

Oh and the soundtrack of this game is fantastic and really underappreciated.

The best part about finishing the game on FUBAR is the achievement you get for it, its named MFWIC (it's a military slogan, google search it!). Went for the "Gentlemen, welcome to dubai" ending too which IMO is the definitive ending.

Absolutely recommended...

WOW! Color me surprised! The campaign of this game is simply wonderful and in my opinion one of the best FPS campaigns out there rivaling the likes of Titanfall 2 and COD MW2. it's like a mini mass effect with amazing visuals and fantastic gun play and the most shocking part... actual sharp writing! can't believe i'm saying this but although the campaign took me around 9 hours to finish which is fine length wise, i wanted it to last even longer. the zombies mode was fun too although not ground breaking by any means. i only wish it had mod support and offline play like Black ops 3.
In summary, highly recommend experiencing the campaign especially to those who are sci-fi lovers like me. I know i will replay the campaign many more times in the years to come.

4 grumpy dwarves go to a deep dark hole to mine precious minerals and get rich and meanwhile commit genocide aginst the local bug community while shouting rock and stone at the top of their lungs...
What's there not to like?

Seriously this is the best coop game on the market right now. Everything in the game comes together so well. and the community is the frendliest i've ever seen not because the game happened to have a friendly community, but because the game itself encourages it. the attitude of the game is so light hearted and funny that it reminds you that you're here to have fun, and considering the game doesn't have any pvp aspects, as a result it doesn't attract any toxicity as well.

It's a must play in my book.

simply a masterpiece!
a masterclass in storytelling, pacing, level design and gameplay. the voice acting is also spectacular. I actually want a portal 3 a lot more than half life 3 (yep, i said it!).
i hope valve and studio campo santo are making another amazing game. please don't take too long!

Even if you're remotely interested in subnautica, just go play it; no guide, no video, just bloody well go play it...
