I see this as a game that's worth it for what it is: An idle game that mostly succeeds in keeping things fresh by having a somewhat unique take on things. Why do I still not recommend this game? Because it also fails where most idle games do: progression with diminishing returns. Sure, you get something pretty cool at each stage of the game, but it takes longer and longer to get there.

That got to the point where this isn't my true playtime. It's somewhere around 200-300 hours if I account for the time I used cheat engine to speed up the game. I'm only at tier 4 modules and sector 32, and this is kinda getting absurd.

And that's not getting into the important part: the fact that there's so many things to manage for an idle game that it just isn't fun anymore. Going away for a few days will hardly get you anywhere, and the only time you can make decent progress is if you sit at your computer and do stuff.

I've found that some PS2 games have issues with displaying certain assets correctly, such as R-Type Final, but I can't really complain when almost all of the features are there and I can play any console game I want.

The only caveat is that SNES games don't take well to the controls you set (regardless of the emulator), which almost always renders them unplayable.

I shouldn't have to have 70+ Gigs of straight garbage on my PC just to download the 50+ gigs of "DLC" that contains the original game, the only thing that actually matters. Too bad the old PSO2 is peak and NGS ♥♥♥♥ the bed
