Now this is not by any means a bad game, and if you like pirate games, you'll love this. However, it just doesn't feel like Assassin's Creed. I personally didn't care very much for sailing around endlessly, doing the same repetitive tasks with a boat over and over... even if it is all framed by a lot of pirate-y cliches which I guess are exciting for some people.
I'd prefer to be running around an interesting city in an interesting period of history, meeting and stabbing famous historical figures and feeling like I'm a part of a historical conspiracy.
I know I'm probably in the minority here, but that is what AC has always been about for me, and this game had very little connection with all that, which I thought was a shame.

Having said that, the game is 'beautiful' and well designed - I'd just prefer to be on rooftops overlooking famous landmarks than on a boat singing a sea shanty.

Lastly, the 'modern day' Abstergo story component now makes no sense and is essentially nulled.

Good beat-em up fun, made even better because of playing your favourite DC characters.

Relaxing, fun little puzzle game.

Surreal, isolated, monochrome. I love it.

This game started off so strong - I loved the palatte, design and the idea. Plot is moot, but the environment was fun and engrossing - until the game stuck two fingers up at me an became so confusing and frustrating it became unplayable. It's a shame, could've been a fantastic surreal puzzler, ended up encouraging the player not to finish it.

Simple, beautiful, dark and melancholy. Excellent game.

Psychotic robot + cake + science + dark humor + puzzles + goo + claustrophibic dystopian labs = one of the best games.

What is there to say? Its Mortal Kombat, its lots of silly, gorey fun.
