Not only the storytelling and way of showing psychotic experiences is staggering but the combat elements of the game make you feel like an actual warrior, fighting for your life against enemies from flesh and darkness within.

My name is Jack Boyd and I am the Commissioner of Freeburg PD. Well... I will for the next 6 months at least when I’ll be forced to retire by our good for nothing Mayor. But you’ll soon realise this is just a minor problem – let me tell you how was my day today:

It started with a call from Downtown, hostage situation, a kid being held against his will. I’ve sent two of my best officers alongside a SWAT team – happened to be little Johnny who’s mom told him he can’t go outside until he eats his broccoli. By the time my men got back to the station I had to dispatch rookies to a robbery in progress in the docks, and they got killed by a group of thugs with automated weapons. And that’s just morning – in the afternoon a guy in the office picked up a bag of white powder from his safe, locked himself in the office and half an hour later he started threatening his secretary with a knife. When my boys got there they asked for an advice – told them to taze the bastard, it was a rough day anyhow. We managed to secure over a kilo of cocaine that I’ve managed to sell through my contact with the local mob family. Later I’ll share half of the profits with my department, after all they need to earn a living too. Oh and there was a call from the casino that someone is trying to break in, but I already knew about that, it’s just my newly acquired friends from the Sand’s family doing their business, so I made sure there were no patrols in range. That’s another 8k for my retirement fund, too bad the security guard tried to be a hero and got shot...
