~TLDR~ Gameplay fun Story meh. Ain't perfect, but enjoyable.

Recently got the steam version because it was on sale for super cheap, but got roughly 500 hours in the other version. And in those hours I can confidently say this game has some of the best feeling movement and weapons in the series. In a regular playthrough it is very easy to become overpowered with the abundance of legendaries, however you don't have to always use the strongest option available so I don't mind. The story is not as bad as people make it out to be, but god is the amount of times that you have to talk to lilith just to progress the plot slows the pacing of the game down so much. Despite not having many official "raid bosses" there is plenty of enemies with raid boss level hp including a few actual raid bosses. The end game build variety is decent, but certain skill trees really don't fit a lot of characters. Like I love me a nice tanky build, but the trade off in terms of damage makes skill trees like flaks purple or zanes green pretty lackluster. Especially when the other skill trees got so much more viability. The whole mayhem modifiers after you beat the game are fun if you like that kind of thing, but usually mayhem 11 or no mayhem at all is the way to go. Makes for a good balance of easy mindless gaming or something that takes a build to play (unless you're moze iron bear, then it's all ez). Anointments are fine, but got a few issues. The biggest one is that non-anointed items can not be anointed so certain mission reward items are permalocked out of being anointed. The cost or re-rolling your anointments is also astronomically high for the amount of times you gotta use it if you want to make a proper build.

Overall I think the game has great gameplay, story is lackluster in depth, and the pacing could use a lot of work. However it's end game is actually pretty sick and is more fun than I initially expected. It could be better, however that does not stop it from being a game I enjoy playing in my free time.

If you enjoy seeing small numbers turn into large numbers. This is the game for you. If you like to be completely overwhelmed and spend much more time than you should playing then This game is amazing.

This game is often considered the worst of the franchise, however I gotta disagree. In my opinion this game has some of the best skill trees and the cryo mechanic (though a bit op) is very fun to play with. There is the downsides of severely lacking in end game content, but in terms of playthroughs I find it quite fun. It also has arguably one of the best Dlc to come out. The Claptrap DLC has a interesting story, lots of side quests, good legendaries, and includes a brand new item rarity that can have some really fun interactions with certain characters.

Dangerously addictive'

fun game, very satisfying sound design. Also a pretty good variety of playstyles based on what orbs you are going for.

Do not play this game. It has aspects of both gambling and strategy. Such a combination leads to a very addictive game with surprising depth and sometimes absolutely amazing time. I also really like the touch of the teams to go against are previous player's teams.

It's pretty cool. Bad puns are indeed the best kind.

weird hitboxes on quite a few weapons and moves that lead to quite a few attacks to miss when the visuals connect with the opponents.

Fun game. it has a good spire and lots of cool community made mods.

I am a big fan of the borderlands series. However many problems this game may have compared to some of the others, It will always be my favorite. I just love how the guns and legendaries feel. Something about their much more straight forward specialities. Overall it's pretty fun
