Amazing game but not what I really expected, thought it was going to be a story driven game but it's not, it's a stay in the zone loot and kill type of game, but there are a good amount of weird "quirks" for a game that is literally just ripped assets from one game placed into a multiplayer.

To get on with the "quirks," should've been a DLC probably worth 20-30 bucks at most and honestly still doesn't have ultra wide screen support (not a deal breaker but slightly annoying), it is very difficult for new comers, honestly it was more made for people who played souls like games for a long time and I feel like it should be adjusted for new comers on difficulty and I forced my girlfriend to play which she is very new and it was entirely way too hard, and I get it people gotta get use to it but you are shoved right into it with a small tutorial on things, should have a difficulty scaling thing, and the game has weird input delays on attacks and blocks, honestly the attacks felt so slow for elden ring while bosses will swing at you at an instant, it feels a bit clunky to be honest and with no two player options, honestly I feel like they should've had more than just three and should've been a 1-6 scale players with difficulty increase slightly by player count but still a genuinely solid game.

Only buy this if you genuinely like challenges and souls-like games and have friends who can partner up with you, match making with strangers is a pain and honestly not worth it, and if you don't mind re-used assets with such a steep price range that this game has.

Bad:
Game needs heavily optimizing instead of focusing on content because how in god will most people be able to enjoy the content if they can't run the base game, even with being above minimum/recommended requirements I still have to set my settings to low, even with people who have above recommended requirements with 4090s and such still have frame issue, with stutters and jitters. This shouldn't be an argument "Oh you should upgrade your pc then pooron", it should be an argument by making this crap hole of a company actually optimize their game for everyone to enjoy so people have a reason to even leave ASE, people literally refund this game when they try transferring over from ASE to ASA because they can't run the base game, genuinely what the hell, and this is honestly disappointing but what do you suspect from a company where they'll only do something if they do it by mistake.

Good:
Game is genuinely beautiful and the amount of new content that they are putting a good amount of effort and thought for something "new" is incredible compared to ASE, a lot of less bugs than ASE and the difference between them is hugely underlooked by a lot of people but how modding was integrated could've been a bit better with UI, a lot less slow and buggy and a bit more zoomed out (personal opinion) but the fact you can install mods through the game instead of needing to go through steam or a third party app like "Thunderstore" or "Overworlf/Curseforge" (Directely) or even the steam workshop makes it that so much easier especially updating mods and such but I see a huge issue with modding, what is preventing people to do a cash grab or lie about the mod product they are putting up to sale or using AI and making others purchase AI Produced models/code? So far nothing I saw but that is another issue.

Conclusion:
Even though there is a lot of good the fact barely anyone can run because they refuse to optimize their games is so big that it's genuinely a negative experience from the average joe on ASE wanting to switch to ASA to be given utter crap of optimization, ASE wasn't the best optimized either but atleast a huge majority could play it on low graphics, hope to see these devs genuinely improve more on optimization and take a step back on content because if we can't enjoy the new content because we can't run the game what is the point? Fix your ♥♥♥♥ Wildcard/SnailsGame this is not how a game company runs their only good product they have.

Update: We've been "notified" that they'll optimize parts of their game and trying to add frame generation (for cards that can even use it) but there is no timestamp of when it will come out, instead we get time stamps for literal maps, and fantastic creatures, that are literally a whole year later. How in gods name you can timestamp those but not when your going to optimize your game and fix memory/vram leakage??? I am sorry but what the actual hell is wrong with wildcard this is utter bs. Fix your game before giving content that you will already be two or more months late on.

So instead of giving us the new DLC Free for the people who paid or even a discount would be nice, we get a remixed of a 25 minute soundtrack that no one will use out of game and barely ingame because you need to hear for footsteps and such. Plus this is even cheaper than what we paid for the DLC, we are getting ripped for our money and got something inreturn of less value of what we paid, it's just out-right a scummy way to give back to your community and entirely disappoints everyone who supported this game, cool the new map is out and everyone will be able to play it but for the people who bought it, we get literal ♥♥♥♥ inreturn for supporting the game. The company no longer thinks like it's community does and instead gotten more greedy, the amount of times I can say this is scummy and out right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is way too many. I don't want a soundtrack, I want to play the new map. If I could refund the livionia dlc, I would because scummy gaming companies don't deserve their community's money.

Game is great, especially for those who like lethal company, but the game has small quirks that need to be fixed with little to no online or ingame tutorial but still great start, sadly I am gonna refund it since I don't believe I will be playing this more than once because the game feels incomplete even for a start up

fun game with friends but to spend a life time by yourself on this game is more of less boring and depressing, find a different fighting game if you are going to play by yourself

MAKE SURE TO READ ALL THE WAY
The positives of the game:
Great with friends especially with the amount of modded servers that can actually manage to remove "hackers"
Even fun to solo or make friends in the game
Game mechanics can be wonky but easy to adjust to
Survival Aspect is very nice with a lot of things you have to look out for, PVP, EVP, etc
Realism of guns is pretty good, honestly compared to most games with guns that try to be accurate with their gun, Dayz does a good job

Now for the huge negative of the game:
The Livionia DLC is becoming free, which is nice for everyone, more people to play on it, more servers will host it, etc but there's a huge issue, so as compensation for the people who bought the DLC, we get a crappy soundtrack which honest to god most people most people who know what it's used for, usually won't buy it and most of the time people who don't know what it is, won't pay it any attention so for this to be compensation of a $14+ DLC map is pretty much ♥♥♥♥, it's a scummy and greedy move and no one appreciates it. Instead of making the new DLC replace the DLC that is becoming free which is what most game devs that actually think like their community would do, they take the AAA Game Company route by completely doing what no one asked for, if you are gonna compensation, compensation with equal value. It's not right. Also if I could refund the DLC, I would because this is pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
