played for 5 mins, am now gay

I'm far from expert, but i've driven couple of cars in real life and did my fair ammount of simracing (well above 500 hours).

First off - iRacing is a scam. You pay to play. At the beginning you end up with 5 cars and 5 tracks nobody heard about. You pay for tracks(15$ each), you pay for cars(5$ each), you also pay to play ($100+ per year).

And the funny thing is, handling/physics doesn't feel any more realistic than other games in the genre, in fact - they are WORSE. This "game" doesn't offer anything except having wallet reduction feature.

Avoid it.

OK... as you can see i spent my fair ammount of time in this game and there is reason for that (although my playtime is considered pretty average for CS:GO). It was the most competetive shooter and it had potentinal to be long lasting like CS 1.6 once was, however...

DEVS screwed up. HARD.

They didn't deal with the cheaters properly. Making VAC ban waves once per few months and then cheaters rebuying the game brings them money. Introducing "new" system that lets the player deal with cheaters so he feels in "control", all that just for distraction.

Introdoucing s*itload of unoptimazed updates made the game lag. HARD. Your average PC was able to run it 140fps+(have in mind that FPS is one of the crytical aspects of competetive shooters), now i get 60 to 80fps. That way people end up spending more money on more powerful hardware (these steam machines gotta sell!!!).

Volvo made sure to get updates that would pi$s off community and create drama, once again so they distract them from the real path the game has been taking. Example: Introdouce something that benefits volvo/devs/illuminati/hardware sellers, then cover it off by introdoucing update that would cause even more drama, so people forget about the previous one.

Not just that, but having all these map changes, $hit sounds, constant cat and mouse balancing game made the entire gameplay feel less competetive than the beta.

Thats just sad.

I've been fan of trucking games since Hard Truck 2: King of the Road came out and i also happend to be fan of any kind of open world games, but thats just one of the many reasons i love Euro Truck Simulator 2.

As you might have guessed the game is about simulating trucking, your main job is delivering cargo around Europe and in case you want full simulation you will have to refuel once in a while, get sleep when you get tired, repair your truck and so on. It's important to note that the trucks are very fun to drive and feel pretty realistic, and once you gather enough money you can upgrade and mod them.

The game itself provides great graphics, physics and mechanics. Also the map and the environment are very beautiful and very massive, which is making your trucking experience even better!

What also is worth to be mentioned is the huge modding community which is taking part into improving the game a lot, for example there is multiplayer mod that came out few months ago, so now you can truck with your buddies as well!

Some people will find this game boring at first, but once in a while its good taking rest of fast-paced games and just drive, chill and listen to your favorite radio station meanwhile, not to mention the fun situations you will get into. :)
