The reviews some people give this game is a true testament to the fact that a lot of people hate what they can’t understand. This game is not for everyone. Although if you appreciate a art piece with a terraforming and unique story then I recommend giving it a try. The gameplay truely is genre defying and not for everyone, but the story is well worth frustration. Overall this an amazing game and I recommend it to those who fit the criteria mentioned above!

very cool and very lit

I have played over 500 hours on this game on the 360 and i dont regret any of those hours, as this is my favourite game ever made, but dont get me wrong, there are some downsides to it.

Lets jump straight into the pros and ♥♥♥♥.

Pros:

1: Extensive and engaging storyline.
2: Very good soical racer in its time.
3: Lots of things to do after you have completed the storyline, with friends or without friends.
4: An insane amount of cars.
5: An installable "Unoffical Patch" that grants you even more cars.
6: MASSIVE open world all there for the taking
7: In its time it had a great community.

♥♥♥♥:

1: Impossible for new players, as registering an account is very difficult, and if you are on windows 10, theres a 50/50 chance you will or will not be able to play.
2: Atari and Eden games were dead many years ago, so dont expect any new updates or customer support.
3: No email verification, so if you forget your password, your save data and your entire account are done for.
4: Some glitches and bugs that can be frustrating, but do not happen very often.
5: Pretty hefty price tag for a game that is this old and may or may not work.
6: Graphics are very outdated, but that is to be expected from a early 2011 game.
7: Servers that are practically dead, in my past few days of playing i have not found one online player, which is very frustrating in my opinion.

Sugguestions to beat the ♥♥♥♥:

1: DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE ON WINDOWS 10, and research on a way to make an account, im sure there is a way.
2: Install the unoffical patch, as this grants many new cars to play around with.
3: Write your password down.
4: If these glitches do happen, for example hitting a stop sign in some areas will flip your car, do not get frustrated! You can always dodge or overcome these glitches.
5: Buy this game when it is on sale. It goes down to around 4.99 USD occaisonally.
6: Not really a fix for this one, but maybe there is some kind of mod out there that can give you a better graphics experience.
7: Find some friends that are playing! Post in the community discussions and look for people that are already playing the game.

Overall, this is my favourite game ever made. If one day i become a billionare, i am going to buy out atari and eden games and make a tdu3. Thanks for reading and i hope this helped you make your decision on whether to buy the game or not.
