The best thing with him is to remenber to move diagonally away from where heburrowed. Also you can hit him after he burrows but maybe only once. At least he doesn't have much health. Also when he does the green arching shoot, it can damage him, so when he pops out to do it, try to be close to him, it'll take about a quarter or third of his health off.
