Literally one of the best games I have ever played. It has a great story that goes very deep. The story its self is well written and takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. That being said, this games is also goofy. Most of the time humor in games comes off as to much or corny but they did it so well here. With such a good mix of serious or high stakes moments and pure comedy gold, the vibe of the game isn't thrown off. In fact, these things blend together very well and complement each other. The change in game play from the other titles is a very nice change of pace. Yes, its turned based but you never feel disconnected from the fights and they add in plenty of moves to keep it interactive. Lastly I just want to say that as a long time Sega fan, Yakuza fan, shenmue fan, and Dreamcast collector... This game has AMAZING fan service! From the tiny easter eggs sprinkled throughout to the full on arcade games you can play inside of the game. Every moment of this game was an absolute treat. I cant wait to find the time for another play through!
