Very good, will update my review later but an hour and a half into the game I already feel that I've gotten my money's worth.

No local multiplayer, no cross compatibility, no FOV options

Masterfully written. The world is full of characters and the setting is so rich and the music makes the experience truly immersive. The amount of content that's been crafted so well is truly impressive, and I can recommend this to anyone at this price point. The text is more engrossing than most novels I've read, and I look forward to what the developers make in the future.

My only complaint is the lack of nighttime art for the environments, because the static ones used for villages do get old, and some more variety and change to make it truly feel lived in would go a long way.

Overall, this is a fantastic experience and one of my favorite text based adventures.

Honestly, too short for the price, only about 2 hours long for a 100% run and the content isn't good enough that I can recommend anyone pay $10 for. The characters and story are interesting, but really surface level, and don't get much development for the most part. I recommend getting it on sale if you're looking for a simple reading experience, with some light puzzle solving if you're looking to get all achievements.

After the 2nd playthrough, the game makes a lot more sense. Things that seemed hard in the first playthough like chits and condition become a lot easier to manage in the 2nd when you know what you're doing, which makes enjoying the story a lot easier. I recommend this game to people that like to read.

Get it on sale, it shows it's age but has rewarding gameplay and is probably the best dungeon crawler I've played.

What I don't like:

Only lets you use 4 resolutions, shop theme is kind of annoying, very drawn out cutscenes, characters are pretty boring, buttons you can't map like tab and `, inactive modding community
What I like:

Fantastic dungeon crawling that's rewarding and has good enemy variety, haggling is entertaining, dungeons have good music, pretty nice looking sprites

Good game with lots of choices. Make sure to hold alt the whole time though.

Music selection is eh, it's good if you're into weeb music

It's okay

Get the revision mod so you can change the FOV, but other than that this game hold up well in terms of story and mostly in terms of gameplay. Only complaint is that dying means having to reload which can sometimes lead to save scumming, and not being able to just select episodes can get really annoying.
