Bloody hell this is great,

For an MMO it's missing a few core fundamentals, such as in-depth stats, parties, inspect other players etc etc. otherwise, it's a well polished, addictive, game that I would gladly buy if not free.

Hero Sige combines a great retro feel with satisfying modern graphical features that surprisingly fit in well. As for the core mechanics, the game runs very smoothly while still spamming hundreds of enemies and effects on your screen at once. The game is still in development so bugs and content is still being added, but the solo game section is almost bug free and runs perfectly.

Hero Siege has features of a hack n slash combined with roguelike elements such as binding of isaac. Never before have I seen a roguelike which has features of a hack n slash rpg such as leveling up and a skilltree. Sure this game has a pretty simple setup but executes it wonderfully. Throughout a "run" you will find potions, items, relics, curses or blessings and other stat boosts which give you more stats for that run, this will be erased once you die, but all your permanent stats will remain (Skill points when leveling, Items picked up from monsters, Permanent stats from statues etc etc)

This gives a feeling of progression because even though you die and lose all your power and what not, you still get stronger as you level up and progress. So you're not just replaying the same level over and over again with no progression as most roguelikes. Instead of unlocking new items, you're making your new character more powerful.

Would Buy.

I would estimate that it's slightly less addictive than crack cocaine.

In the vast time I have owned this game, it's only gone down in quality. It's because a giant kidfest that once was a create innovative FPS experience.

Servers are dieing down, and from the few players I do find games with, they usally last around 2 minutes before they scream at you and leave for playing an OP class.

Do Not Buy.

Could a game get any worse, than what I have experienced today.

The game is just horrible, there is but one redeeming factor to this game I can think of, and that's its aesthetics. The game looks good, It's graphically engineered perfectly.
But that is besides the point, sure the game had potential, but releasing a game so broken, so un-optimized and early released. Claiming it's a finished project. Where's the "Early Access" Label?

So much pain, I have experienced. Not from the broken deformed dancing entities that are supposed to hurt me. More the pain of having to endure at least 1 minute of this terribly broken half assed cesspool of a game. The game handles terribly, There is NO main menu, or Options menu that I know of. I would have loved to fiddle with my options to get the game to work better, or to change my game window to Fullscreen and 1920x1080 resolution. No, the game doesnt offer that, or at least to people who don't know un-noted keybinds.

I could go on all day about this hidious waste of money. But Instead I would publicly warn any readers looking at this game, and it's false advertisement through Description and Images, not to buy this waste of Hard drive space. Bad Rats will offer you more entertainment.

Although this has to be one of my favorite games, there are many flaws which, if fixed, would make the game so much more enjoyable.
Awesomenauts strays from your stereotypical Moba title, and takes on comedic aesthetics, introducing; humourous voice lines, cartoon artstyle and creative playable characters. There is a lot of fun to be had, whether you want to play competetively for a higher league and harder enemies, and just for fun, against people your own skill level.
But alas, Romino has decided to step on your hopes and dreams of a utopian game and quite literally destroyed key elements of the game which would make this game perfect. Matchmaking is horrible, I've been matched with people with 1000+ Hours and people with <10 hours in the same match. Leading to inevitable defeat, thus the only way to secure a victory is to join a game with a premade team.
The queue system is also quite terrible, You cannot see what the enemies 'Nauts are, this isn't really a problem, but you chose your 'Naut and Loadout before even knowing who you're v.s'ing, You could go Leon, backstab build, and join the game to a Coco,Gnaw,Swig, and get demolished. Thankfully in 2.6 update they are going to remove Loadouts so you may choose your build Mid-Game while you know what the enemy 'Nauts are.
My final issue with the game, is If you leave a match mid-game (No matter the reason), you get punished with a Negative Solar bonus on your next win. Essentially if steam servers drop, You get punnished for steam's problem. Sometimes when a host disconnects, the entire game gets scrapped and everyone gets punished because it couldn't change host (Good job Romino, wp).

But, alas I haven't had more fun in a game for a long time and there of course is room for improvement, but then again every game can be improved in some maner, So apart from the hideous community and rage inducing 'Bugs'. The game is great and I would definitely recommend for anyone to purchase it, as it does lack an Australian playerbase.
All in all, Great game, Would buy.
