if you want to play, find a community. The official servers are impossible to survive if the server isn't on a fresh restart and the bugs in this post 1.0 game can lead to very cheap deaths at the cost of your time and sanity

If you liked Phantom Pain, if you like Kojima's story-telling, you'll no doubt enjoy this game.

If you played RDR on console, it's a great continuation of the gameplay, and expanding of the original story and characters

Current Forecast: Slight Drizzle

Risk of Rain 2 is the sequel to one of my favourite rougelikes: Risk of Rain
The core mechanics are the same, with changes to fit the translation to 3D. You spawn with no starting equipment, and buy your items as you go along. The items are randomised, selected from a pool.

Current Forecast: Mod͡er̀a҉te͏ ̸R͝ai͘n̷stoŗm

The Lore is rather light currently, but there is a goldmine to be explored, with the actual gameplay providing the diorama which is backed up by the Logbook.

The premise for this game is the freight ship 'The Contact Light' has crashed on an unknown planet, with it's cargo being spewed all over the planets surface. You start as The Commando, one of the survivors who was on the ship, and your main goal is to try and escape the planet. Along the way you will rescue other survivors, gain items, and explore the many areas of this planet.

The Logbook is your main source of Lore (and mechanical knowledge) for the game. When you pick up an item, you find the shipping details for it as well. This provides you with some context as to what the item is, and how it came to be on the Contact Light, and as such the planet. Some items will have rather amusing logs, some that are adorable, and some that will just break your heart. It's a rather good way of giving you a story for each individual item.

Current Forecast: H̹̯͉̽̏ͦ̏̿͂͜e͙̣͋̈́͟a̘̩͕̪v̱̭̟̏̿ͬ̓̂͗͞y̖ͥ͐͠ ̮̳̣̼̜ͨ͊͞M̻̹̟̥ͥ̅ͩ̑͒o̐҉͔̰͎̞̻͇̦n͂͏͖s̈ͬ҉̩o̲͈̮͓̝̬̜͌̌ͧ̕õ̡͔͑n͚̙͓̰͈͎̒̄̃

This game is addictive. Whether you had a good run that ended by obliterating yourself from existence, or a bad run that saw you killed in the second level, you will always find yourself thinking "Maybe just one more".

The items are infinitely stackable. This means you can have insane combos, where opening a chest releases a barrage of fireworks that will seek out an enemy, hitting them and causing lightning to chain between nearby enemies, killing them and releasing a flock of spectral knives, which themselves in turn seek out enemies, exploding for each hit which chains lightning and kills them releasing more knives causing an explosion of fire...
You will reach a point in the game, where you obtain THAT run, the insanely overpowered one, or the one with the most insane synergy, or the absurd amount of gold.

This game is just fun. I nagged some of my friends to get this game. They agreed to get it, somewhat reluctantly, and within about, an hour they were saying "yeah this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun".

You will love playing this game, and before long, most of your runs will end, not with death, but wi-

Not Tonight is a great game for those of you who loved Papers, Please.

Whilst the humour will leave many people not from the UK a bit confused, it's always kept me chuckling as I play on.

The devs as well are great with support for bugs and glitches, always providing advice.
