Slapshot is to Ice Hockey what Rocket League is to soccer.

I believe that Rocket League is the best version of soccer that exists, even those it's in cars, because every movement of the ball is you and your teams own doing. There's no shoot button, no relying on a random number to decide if a pass is accurate or not. Slapshot obviously is already Ice Hockey, but it invokes the same feelings; you move your player around with WASD, and then hit the puck by spinning your stick via moving the mouse. If you miss a pass or a shot, it's because you didn't position yourself correctly, and spin your stick at the right time. It does make it a tough game to begin with, as your flail your stick around, missing the puck in comedic fashion time after time. But when you start to get a feel for it, the satisfaction when you finally pull off a good move with your team is immense.

The developer is active on Discord and is working super hard to iron out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that of course a new game are going to have.
