Monster Hunter: World

Greetings dear Steam Community!
First of all, I'd like to apologize for any mistakes that will follow. English is not my mother language and therefore I haven't mastered it yet. Moreover, this is my first review. Let's just start.

Gameplay & Story

I have played Monster Hunter Freedom United (PSP), Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) and also Monster Hunter: World on Xbox. That gives me i.m.o. the possibility to evaluate wether this game is better or worse than other MH-Games.
The gameplay starts a bit slow for my likings, but speeds up rather fast after 1-2h of playtime. Other then in older MH-Games, you miss the feeling of freedom, when choosing a quest. That is, because you can't choose. In MHW, you follow a linear questline to complete the Main Story. Side quests do exist, but there is actually no need to complete them.
This does not mean, the story is boring. I saw flashing scenes and funny stuff. Exploring the world(s) of MHW has never felt that good. The whole enviroment looks lively and dynamic. In addition to that you can use the world its elements to defeat monsters.

The 14 different weapon types have a decent balancing and offer huge differences in gameplay. (BTW. The hunting horn is NOT a support weapon)

Game-Port Problems

I've read many many review complaining about how bad this game is ported. Actually these people are a little bit whiney. I mean the game has just released and therefore it's just normal to not work perfect. I have never had any connection issues. I was neither kicked out of a lobby nor from a quest. Also the game was just released. Give them some time to react on the release-bugs and gather some more hours to judge the game. I saw people reviewing with less then 1h played. How can people think they know much about this game?

System requirements

Well, not much to say. The game gives information about what is needed to play this game.
Just don't play on a potato.

Price

Okay. I have to say this game is not cheap. But for this game, i have waited so many years. I would pay 100€ without wasting a thought about that. I am of the opinion that they chose the right price for this masterpiece.

Conclusion

All in all, I can say it is worth buying. You have many hours of story, even more hours of endgame and a gorgeous world to play in. 10/10. Best Monster Hunter Game.

Thanks for reading!
