It's a pretty popular opinion that it has too much unnecessary extras especially a lot of hate with mini games and what not which I don't really understand. They are not necessary what so ever to the end game, but theyre enjoyable nonetheless, the extra random dialog and interactions in the game give it much more life and makes the atmosphere more human in my opinion.

My first run finished at about 110 hours in and I did just about every available side mission, mini games etc. You can replay the game for further unlocks in hard mode thats just more or less to level up and progress your characters further. The only extra in hard mode besides character progression items are some extra simulated battle missions as far as I know. I'm probably going to start a hard run soon. The franchise has been one of my favorite in life so it definitely has given me the completionist itch. Sure some of it is tedious and can be frustrating, but isn't that what achievement hunting is all about?

As far as the game itself and the direction it's gone along side of most of the original, I really enjoy it a lot. It's great to step into a familiar franchise and getting to experience new and fleshed out story telling that for the most part stays true to the original. The unfamiliar aspects is what makes it exciting and fun to me, not knowing exactly what is going to happen gives me a similar feeling to playing a FF7 game for the first time all over again. I'm so glad the next installment isn't going to be a timed exclusive, I already had to wait a year just to play it on my PC and was able to avoid spoilers in a story I thought I was familiar with

Totally biased rating due to my love for the FF7 franchise that goes as far back to the original, but I'm giving it a 9/10, denoting a point for having to wait for a PC release, having the game released in installments, and leaving out some of the original items/materia/enemy skills that could even possibly make its return in part 3 for all we know. Either way, a must buy for FF7 fans

Deadside is similar to DayZ with building mechanics similar but not as deep (as of now) as 7 Days to Die. There is PVP and PVE mode which allows players to slow it down and basebuild at their pace without worrying about being Raided and losing everything. There are Bots which allow various levels of missions that can be completed solo or in a group. The world is comparable to DayZ but the loot is far more abundant which allows for new players jumping in to gear up fairly quickly with at least the most basic of weapons (pistols, shotguns, rifles, ARS). Higher quality weapons are found on tougher enemies and by completing high level missions. While the game is still in development just recently releasing their 1.0 version, there is a ton you can do right of the bat and you won't waste 30 minutes endlessly running finding almost nothing. I again want to emphasize how great the loot system is that makes it simple for new players and fresh spawns to get right into the action fairly quickly. Great game and i'm looking forward to seeing its continued development down the road!

There probably has been around 8 different releases of this game, weather pc, console, or handheld. While some may consider it a cash grab or overkill, I just look at it as people will get the chance to play such a legendary, story heavy and freedom giving game. With the exception of mobile phones(wouldnt be surprised if they pulled that off) there is NO reason anyone should turn down the opportunity to play this game. My only wish is to jump into this game blindly as if it were the first time so I could experience it beginning to end all over. Easily a 5 Star, 10/10 game

This game is a great time. Its one of those games you can play solo, but its definitely better with friends. The environment is always changing, so although the threats remain the same, each playthough is something new and exciting. Lots of updates and content drops. Great coop experience once again!

I bought this game a while back on sale. For some reason it sat in my collection collecting virtual dust. I grew tired of playing other shooters and recently jumped into this with a friend. As I jumped into a coop game with a friend, I'm wondering what took me so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long and how stupid I felt that this game had been there waiting for me to put in meaningful time into it. Now I am hooked. This game requires patience, its not a game you jump into and just spray and pray and are instantly good at. The game is built on working together, not that its a requirement, but the flow of matches is a lot smoother with communication, pretty much like any other game. I guess there is a realism appeal here though, you do NOT have an ammo count, so you are forced to pay attention to the rounds youve dispensed. There is no health bar, and it does not regenerate, as a matter of fact, you die in at most 3 shots, as long as they are well placed at centermass at the very least. The hud is very minimal, which forces you to take in the environment and approach your angles cautiously. I f u c k i n g love it. The graphics are great, the gameplay is amazing and smooth, the multiplayer is intense considering how cautious you have to be, which slows things down a bit but not in a bad way what so ever. The coop is amazingly fun especially with friends. There is definitely a sense of accomplishment when you and your crew jump in, take this objective, or blow this objective up, and just work together, watching over one another. I definitely reccommend this game over amd over, especially at the price it reaches during the Summer or Winter sale. Easily worth even the full priced value as well.
