I recommend this game up until youre level 15. Below that level youre in a new recruit bracket where the games are enjoyable and nobody has any advantage over anyone else (unless they pay for all the characters and their other abilitys but still thats not even bad from my experience).

I am now level 19 and though its still kinda fun its pretty much whatever team is either premade or has the better gear usually wins 11/10 times.

See once you step out of the new recruit bracket and dont spend any money youll start to noticed some pretty poopy things that ill list here.

- Elitist lvl 50s that spew vial at you even though youre fresh out of the beginner bracket (Im level 19, chill bro)

- Lower lvl players vs premades (even just a group of 2 with 2 randoms will destroy with awesome gear 8/10 times, pray they have a teammate that likes to frolic around by himself)

- When your team gets ambushed so quick you dunno wtf just happened only to see their vampire hands or human weapons are all glowing with lightning or fire and you realize "oh wow, were about to get smashed hard."

- Though you can unlock everything (except for a few OP weapons you have to get by spending real monies) by the time you FINALLY get youre mysterious weapon leveled up and all your abilitys forged to what stats you want to boost so you can fianlly be competitive agaisnt the people that have spent the money and have all the gear and stats they want this game will be long forgotten i feel like.

TL/DR : Give this game a go till level 15 at least, dont spend money, choose reaver class and pounce like a baws cause its awesome, if you like this game (like i do) play a few games here and there or get 7 friends and make a private game for some LOLtastic times. Oh yea and when you search for a game for the region choose ANY in the tab so you can get in a game fast, who cares if youre a lil laggy its FRE! (unless youre a tryhard)

After playing monday night combat on xbox as one of their indie games i fell in love with this game. The characters and the concept of it were just perfect and i coudlnt wait till this F2p second coming was gonna be on steam.

But, sadly it just didnt get the players it needed. People right outa beta just crub stompd the poo outa the newer players and i think i left people to not wanting to come back. Sadly you couldnt fix it though, at its peak it only had around 3-4k players i think? (maybe a lil more?). You cant exactly make skill based match making with so few people imo.

Then they started adding different game modes which was the beginning of the end for this game. You cant add 2 diff game modes and expect it to not cripple your player base by taking a small community and then spreading it out even more.

Finally the last straw for me was when they decided to just jump ship and start on PA, completely dogging anyone who put any money into this game (i didnt spend money but boy did they get plenty of my time). They said (UBER ENT) that they wouldnt just leave this game while working on PA, they could do both. Well 2 months after they said that they gave some swan song forum post about how all their resources need to be on PA and they will go back to super monday night combat when PA is in a good place.

Now im pretty sure this games about dead with prolly like 100 people playing if youre lucky (maybe 2-300), they are liars, would love for them to prove me wrong, but why would they come back to a dieing game. I bought a computer JUST to play this game, thats how much i loved it. But UBER said FU community, we got your cash, off to the next ponzi scheme/half finished game with a premium shop. For this they get a big fat NO. Not because the games not fun, but because these goofs dont deserve a good review or anyone elses money. Anything theyve made is dead. Let that be your guide into wether or not you should consider planetary annialation.... UberEnt - money grabbin like its hot since 2008
