Amazing. The spiritual successor to the Bukadai series. Lives up to the hype. Has an amazing sense of detail and care for the series. Unlike most modern games it doesn't try to be an e-sport with balanced characters. It's one of the few fighting games that attempts to be fun first, appeal to the source material second and balanced third. Highly recommend for Dragonball (Z) fans.

The greatest RPG in the last 15 years. Gaming isn't dead just yet.

The game starts off on a less-than-promising note. Its initial pace feels sluggish, and the world somewhat lacks depth. As the game progresses, it seems to gain momentum, suggesting a richer and more expansive experience. However, this feeling is short-lived as you soon discover its superficial nature.

Spaceships in the game appear as a cross between mini-games and cut-scenes, lacking the seamless transition one might hope for. While the idea of exploring entire planets is enticing, the actual execution falls flat, as most maps feel repetitively duplicated.

But it's the quests that are the most disappointing. They often come off as unimaginative, with one particular quest taking the cake. In it, the quest giver becomes hostile based on your choices. And while he's immune to any retaliation, he can end your game. It feels like a missed opportunity for player agency.

The game promotes an illusion of choice and freedom, but it mostly serves as a canvas, seemingly waiting for modders to bring it to life. It feels less like a full-fledged game and more like a modding platform, akin to Roblox or S&box. The evolution of Bethesda from game developers to more of a publisher role is evident here. It's pathetic.

The way V gets shot in the back by teleporting police is just full of the exaggerated swagger of a cyborg mercenary

When I was a little kid, I used to be terrified of the dark. Now, after watching hundreds of horror movies, I've felt like I've become desensitized to horror. Nothing supernatural seemed that scare me anymore. The only thing to ever get close to scaring me was PT, the Silent Hills game that tragically got canceled. Strapping into a VR headset and playing Phasmophobia is the first horror media to bring back that innate fear of the dark. The fear of the unknown and the possibility of the ghost listening to what I'm saying brings back that childhood feeling of insecurity.

My only regret is that I can't sleep well at night anymore.

Ignore people who hate this game because it didn't involve Hideo Kojima. This game is a spin-off of Metal Gear Solid and not canon. Metal Gear Rising: Revengence didn't involve Kojima and that game came out fantastic, so give this game a chance.

This game is better than you may think. If you like games like MGSV, Rust or 7 Days to Die, you will love this game. If you don't like those games, there's nothing new to find here. The single player is a little janky, but the co-op is where it shines. As of right now, the slow start of the game is a bit of a drag, but it picks up and gets pretty addictive once you start growing your base; very similar to growing Diamond Dogs. Think of this game as a AAA studio's attempt at Rust; it's going to be grindy like one of those games, but with a AAA budget.

TL;DR
Overall I'd give this game a 6.5/10 from what I've played. It's slow at first, but picks up eventually. If you love survival games, you'll love this game.

The best take on the battle royal format. It has the smoothest engine and controls compared to the other two. On the downside, it's not very optomized. Most players have to play with everything on low to get a decent framerate. I have a GTX 1070 and I can only play medium with about 50 FPS. Another glaring issue is the FoV with is defaulted to 40. You can't see anything in firstperson pretty much and there's no way to change this without using third party scripts. Thankfully, the developers announced and FoV slider and optimization patches that are to come out soon.

Overall, the game is worth the $30 price tag and it's my favorite game of this year.
