Same warm feelings as i got from first game. Nothing to say more, must play again =)

Actually, this is a nice game. Not a Mafia at all, more GTA-like, but still playable and enjoyable. Pros - cutscenes(voice acting is much better than i expected), nice and well written storyline, America 60's setting and city environment(districts feel distinct and authentic), shooting is satisfying, great soundtrack.
Contras... Well that's a lot. Technical issues, like flickering textures, overblured. Bugged quest NPC, you can't continue your quest till you restart game, NPC just doesn't react. Cars driving around with open doors, enemy ragdolls getting stuck in the walls, etc. A bit of game crushes and so on. Graphics can be better, you still can make more sharper and better looking picture with NVidia drivers, but default graphics is very questionable. Vehicle damage modelling can be much better, that's not "next-gen", Mafia 2 has better cars deformation. AI is very stupid, also very annoying pedestrians, which trying to jump under your wheels. Intrusive HUD, you don't need road signs and "x-ray" intel vision, believe me. And broken achivoes in definitive edition. You still can get this achievements, but you need a bit of patience.

So, i can recommend this game. It's pretty enjoyable, a bit dull and bugged, but good.
BUT! Buy it only with huge discount. "Definitive" edition doesn't worth full price, current 15 bucks(with 50% discount) is okay.

Total disappointment. Remastered but not remastered. Some slight improvement here and there, but d3t destroyed vibe from this game. Glitched textures. World objects, like paper sheets, scrap, bottles starts to flicker while moving for example. FPS drops, also when you firing from Thompson SMG. In chapter 14 lines repeating and so on. there's a lot of glitches, bugs and other fun breakers. I played this game on AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, 32 Gb RAM and GeForce GTX 1660 Super, so it's definitely not my "potato PC".
So. Game is playable, but that's all. It's a fake remaster, which is a big downgrade comparing with original Mafia 2 from 2010. I don't recommend to buy this, especially if you have classic version..

Well, actually, it's a good remaster. Nice graphics, nice physics, optimized well enough. Heroes are improved, Tom Angelo more charismatic and his actions are reasonable, Salieri are nice antihero, Morello repels even more and became more alive, Sam is more stylish, only Polly Lombardo is just selfish and merry mischief. Free-ride is ok, difficulty is ok(also, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ race), story is too fast but that just my opinion. Original still a bit better, but just a bit, i totally recommend this game.

Very warm and enjoyable game, but unfortunately, too short for me. Also still worth buying and i strongly recommend it.
