Early Access Review
If you have ever played Divinity Original Sin, or Wasteland, this game is of a similar vein. If you put the basic players rules from DND 5e ontop and you have this game. For me, a fan of these games, it has been a great blend. The storytelling has cornered me, but also surprised me with the adaptability. I will enjoy playing and replaying this game to experience different stories and choose different outcomes.

Great with a friend also.

I like this game. 6/10. I like Fallout in general. Skyrim was my jumping in point for Bethesda. It was a buggy awful mess but it was also very enjoyable. I never even bothered to finish Skyrim in the 200+ hours I've played it. Skyrim taught me that Bethesda has a strong world they sell well. I was swallowed up by Skyrim, and Fallout 4. So when Fallout 76 came around, I was excited to see the multiplayer added and other shuffled around things.

In truth, fallout 76 is a broken toy. It's buggy. Messy, unbalanced and glitches out all the time. It looks bad vs other new games and has some really absolute game destroying bugs in its history. I still enjoy it however. I haven't personally been stuck by any of the world ending bugs, like when players could steal your inventory, or quest glitching to an state where no progress could be made, etc. Making me likely one of the lucky ones to have played since release. This may not be your experience if you purchase this product.

And I think you should know that this game, as much as it has been patched, worked on, upgraded etc will always be a broken toy in some extremely large way. I have 0 faith that Bethesda can fix what is fundamentally wrong with Fallout 76. If you can endure the awful bugs, and really enjoy or enjoyed Fallout 4, then this game is worth a shot for you like it is for me. I like running around the post apocalypse shooting my guns and hunting raiders. I enjoy the resource grinding to an extent and well as the buying trading market. I have fun in spite of Fallout 76's problems and hopefully you will as well. DM me if you need a friend in the wastes of Appalachia

11 hours, 34 deaths. 77% items 96% map

This is a good game. This is an awesome game. This is something that feels like it came straight out of the early nineties. Something that could almost have existed on the SNES with a bit more of the harsh pixels of the NES. A soundtrack that is electronic; Dark and brooding that still somehow seems like it could also be coming from one of those old consoles.

It plays and control in nearly the same way as Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and Super Metroid. Running around collecting items and equipment to run around again, getting farther, deeper, to collect more items and equipment. The game can be grueling if you aren't an explorer. Finding weapon damage power ups as well as the weapons themselves can be hard. Some of them much more well hidden than others. Maps, and the "cheat codes" are mandatory for some pickups. Searching the web for secrets made me feel like I was back on dial up just hoping I could figure it out.

I recommend a controller. I found it the easiest way to pull off some of the harder "jumping teleporting pet lobbing teleporting again and then again" jumps. The game can be beaten in under four hours with a map and a plan, but it's much more fun to go it yourself. When you get stuck, get help with that part and then continue. You can always come back when you miss something.

The only two things I might gripe about are the asking price and the myriad of weapons that are either useless or bothersome to use. I would have been a bit more solid on the price if it were 15 or closer to that. Many weapons are specialized. None seem to be "super effective" against any one kind of enemy, nor are there really any types of enemy. They all seem to just have a base health pool, and you deal damage until they are dead. No shielding, no regenerating and no armor. There is a hotswitch button to change weapons without opening the weapon wheel. This is underused completely. I simply stuck to the most powerful gun in the game until I found a more powerful one.
If you're having trouble progressing, a power upgrade or two can let you breeze by. I found particularly the last boss to suffer from this. It seemed near impossible with my weak weapons. Even the enemies leading up to the boss were giving me trouble. I went back and collected a few upgrades and a weapon I missed. Returned swiftly to the boss and there was no difficulty. I simply destroyed him. Unlike most of the bosses there was no pattern, nothing to learn. I just shot the weak spot and I won in seconds. Sadly a weak ending gameplay wise.

This is still an amazing game, beautiful to look at, slightly upsetting sometimes as well. With it's near gore style in some sections, mechanical biological machine in others... the "friends" that you meet on the way are also terrifying monsters in their own right. You should get this game, maybe wait for a sale? but it's nolstalga that plays amazing. A joy to control and bomb around in.

I wish dungeon fighter still existed. Anyhow this game is near endless, with almost no chance you can figure out what is going on without spending a buttload of cash on it. Still, unique in style and cute. Try it out atleast once.

Ninja space fighting super guns and weapons. All good things. Gaining new weapons or warframes(armor suits with special abilities) is slow, and the grind might turn you away.

If you have a friend that you want to co-operate with this is a fun little game. Both action dual stick shooter and puzzle game in one. I hate Lara Croft in general, with the skin packs that you can get changing that aspect I found myself enoying this experience 10x. The game is not without strange bugs, jumping being mostly auto-targeted(poorly) and shooting aim assist like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is not much of a challenge. just simple easy fun.

SimCity 4 is a fun game. If you played simcity2000 this is the perfect successor to that game. Pipes are simplified, water is easy and plentiful. Power is generally easy to manage as are most the cities systems. I didn't HAVE to cheat to win this game or even to play it the way I wanted to. The cities seem to adapt better no matter how poorly you place zones.
I love this game.

However.... Numerous crash issues, memory leak issues, Huge cities seem to bog down the game in ways you wouldn't expect. (water being there then not there then there in pipes, leading to rallies about not having water then they do) My pc is far an away powerful enough to run this game, a beast machine when this game was made new. Still this game does not always work. I would say this game is worth playing, toying around with despite it's many bad programming faults. Just be aware and save often.

the combat is simple, brutal and spectacular. When you cleave someones arm off or smash off a head the crunch really sells it. Don't think about the story too deeply.
