I agree with others comments on not reading up on the game before playing it. Go in blind, but after you meet a few endings, be sure to check online to reach the final true ones, they are worth it.

At first things seem pretty basic, but as you go on the mysterious elements start to make you feel some disturbing emotions up until you feel like it isn't the same game anymore.

This was a great experience, 9/10: I'd say it's around a 20 hour read, well worth the $30 price tag. Awesome artwork, but limited scenery. Subtle music notes add to the atmosphere of the "something's wrong here" moments, and the branching paths are not very obvious until you get into the narrative enough to start playing detective and speculate about what is going on.
