Have you ever fought on Hellmire, facing a swarm of bugs while you're armed with nothing but your standard issue SG-225 and a will to spread democracy and liberty?
Well, I have. The thing is, Mag was there, and so was his mortar sentry.
We had collected a ton of samples, killed all the bug hives. All our objectives were accomplished and extraction was only minutes away. We would be lauded as heroes of Super Earth. Then I heard my esteemed friend here say he was going to "dispence some freedom" as he called down the mortar sentry.
In just a matter of seconds, his mortar decides that the "danger close" rule doesn't apply to tho who aren't "super citizens", and treats me like a session of target practice on a Tuesday afternoon. I lost all my limbs, but most importantly, I lost the opportunity to earn my citizenship and do what I had always dreamed of doing: to vote!
