This game is the perfect gateway game if you really don't like horror games but want to dip your toes into them

You are a ghost hunter charged with locating and identifying a ghost and you can play solo or with friends to track the ghost down, before it tracks you down.

Something worth saying is that the game is still in early access, and it is a bit janky in places, but because of that, the game is much more fun. if it was a high budget, AAA and polished to the Nth degree then I don't think it would be as enjoyable. The jankiness of the game gives it a charm that gives plenty of laughs throughout. From the weird way the player models act, to the object physics, it never fails to give a laugh.

That being said, the game still is scary, and its very easy to get spooked. Its atmosphere alone is really well engineered to put you on edge (Especially if you turn off all the lights and turn the sound up) and while it does have some jump-scares, its not nearly as reliant on them as other games. The sound design has to be praised, as the sound really sucks you into the atmosphere, especially with an angry ghost that is right behind you.

I'm looking forward to what gets added next to the game, with the Trello page holding a long list of planned additions to the game. I would absolutely recommend picking this game up if you can. Its a perfect 50/50 mix of genuine scares and genuine laughs
