Devs went above and beyond with the boss fights here. You can totally see where all those years of development went.

Every boss fight stands out massively on their own with some really unique (and clever) gimmicks.

The animation is a giant step up from even the base game (The final boss in particular is an eye-candy spectacle).

Ms Chalice is a great addon and she feels quite unique to play as.

I 1000% appreciate the lack of run n' gun stages padding the play time, making this DLC a golden moment after another back to back to back.

This game is like King Crimson. I play it, and I don't know where the last 2 weeks of my life went.

This has to be one of the worst online multiplayer experiences I've had in my life.
Lobby Browsing is broken and you cant properly scroll without it glitching like crazy
The Lobbies themselves are plagued with AFK hosts(and the quick match button will make sure it picks one of those everytime)
Multiplayer itself is messy and boring. It took one player leaving to break the match's connection.
I had 44 Minutes of playtime over this free weekend, and only 10 of those were spent inside a match.

I feel bad for those who spent actual money on it

The Chapter 6 is only 3 levels long(4 including the relatively long and hard time rift), and in these you basically do the exact same thing: Run around the ship collecting/ delivering stuff. It gets old, as quick as chapter 2 starts.....

The Death Wish has to be the single most BULLSH*T-filled festival I've ever played. Boss rematches break down to literal attack spams, where one attack can easily overlap another and you'd rather just restart the whole fight since you can't recover from the initial hit anyway. So MANY platforming challenges that go to such extreme that you start unintentionally breaking the game as you pass through them(I don't even recall how many times I've clipped into/through platforms without even trying do so). AND THE ROCKETS MAN, THE *STUPID* ROCKETS...YEAH, JUST DROP 50 ROCKET LAUNCHERS YOU CAN'T OUTRUN WITHOUT THE RUNNING/TIME HAT(and note that some of these chapters also ask that you don't use the hats)

I hate this so much. Just get Nyakuza Metro instead, its chapter is much more jam packet, and all the extra content is actually fun.
