DOOM: The Dark Ages feels much more like the original Doom games than Eternal. It is not as movement focused, and feels like a good return to the roots of the Doom series.

The 1.0 release added so much endgame content and quite a bit of story. I don't think I've ever actually gotten past the second space elevator milestone without cheating, though.
