Fantastic game that really encourages multiple playthroughs. One of the best games I've played in years.

Short but sweet game. Petting the cat is a legitimate money making tactic.

Great sequel to the original. Smaller in scope, but much more dense, and has a ton of quality of life improvements.

The revamped storyline was great too, and I can't wait to see what this team does next.

Fantastic visuals, sound, music, gameplay and story. Had a few performance issues, but those seem to have been patched out.

This game is such a good experience to play. Can highly recommend!

This game was created by a tiny team, and what they managed to accomplish is pretty amazing.

It's far from a perfect game, with especially the controls being very janky (mostly in vehicle and lockpicking sections).

However, the game has a good story, strong visual design (with ok character models, and great environments), good characters and pretty good acting. The story also doesn't outstay its welcome - While I would have liked a bit more "lore" in the game, what it has is sufficient for a satisfying story.

If you can live with the janky controls, I would recommend this for the story.

This was a good game. Holy crap, have I missed good single player Star Wars games.

Actually a pretty good workout. Decent music selection too, and it's nice that you're able to add your own.

I've played all the Fallout games except for Fallout 76, and to me, Fallout 4 feels the least like Fallout. It's also chock-full of all the typical Bethesda positives and negatives (listed below). Overall though - it's a great game - just maybe not a great Fallout game. Still well worth your time though!

Negatives:
* World isn't super coherent in terms of worldbuilding.
* Main quest is the least good quest in the game, and not all that great.
* Procedural generated quests are not great, but another settlement needs your help (thanks Preston).
* Dialogue options are usually restricted to "Yes", "Enthusiastic Yes", "Sarcastic Yes" and "No, but later yes."

Positives:
* Mod support! This is the number one greatest thing about the game. The modding community is huge and diverse, and have had 10 years to build things for the game. You can truly customize your play experience and add TONS of additional content with mods.
* Some of the side quests are great. Others are just okay.
* While overall worldbuilding isn't great, individual location design is fantastic. Bethesda's environment artists are on a different level.
* Gameplay is fun! Gunplay is pretty good, VATS is functional, stealth is fun.
* Equipment upgrading is great.
* Pretty much all items have a purpose for scrapping / building / upgrading.

Neutrals:
* Settlement system. Some will love it, some will not care about it. It's fairly well done though, so if you choose to engage with it, you'll have a good time.
* Bethesda's engine. Yes, it's old and janky - but it also enables the extensive mods that we're getting for the game.

Seriously though: If you're wanting to get into Fallout 4 on PC, also get into modding. It can take the game to entirely new heights.

A fairly short game, but very well done. I loved Stasis (also worth getting), and this was a nice *free* surprise to see pop up on steam.

The puzzles are *mostly* logical, although there may be a little bit of "rubbing x against y and hoping it sticks", as is typical of many adventure games.

The atmosphere and story are both excellent, and it adds some extra depth to the Stasis universe - one which I'd love to see more from. If you like body-horror sci-fi and adventure games, this is well worth your time.

I bought the deluxe content to show my appreciation, and to support the devs for their excellent work.

Surprisingly fun so far!

The voice acting is horrendous, but in an endearing way. The plot is straight out of pulp novels from the 30's. Over the top, schlocky and seen many times before - But somehow the whole is more than the sum of its parts.

  • Good: Environments, Variety, Puzzles
  • Okay: Plot, Gunplay
  • Bad: Save point system (weirdly spaced), can get locked out of exploration puzzles
  • So bad it ends up being good: Voice acting, dialogue

Overall, a solid 7/10 in my book, and worth picking up. I'd probably wait for a sale to do so though, as the regular price is a bit high considering the age of the game.
