Very silly and pointless. Probably why I like it.

I am trying to make a game so I was looking on youtube for game design advice and came across this game.
Apparently the designer had no previous programming experience and they did this first game on their own so I was expecting something fairly simple.
Actually it's a delightful work of art. The graphics and the music are exceptional.
The gameplay is a bit old-fashioned, wandering around talking to characters. But you never know what is going to happen next (sometimes you're not quite sure what is happening at the moment). The story is charming and strange enough to want to find out how it ends.
I did have a couple of times when the game crashed back to windows, but starting again carried on where I left, so no big deal.
If I can ever make a game half as good as this I will be delighted.

An enjoyable and amusing little game. But it is slightly annoying that you have to do specific bits of mischief to progress the game.

Very pleasant and relaxing game. The good background music really helps the mood.

Because I enjoy Crash Drive 2, I volunteered to help test this game (unpaid, but I got a free copy) and have played every day for over a year. Not because I'm dedicated (actually I'm rather lazy), but because it's fun.
Like CD2, you can easily play for just a few minutes at a time, as each event or tank battle is only a few minutes, so ideal to fit in to the spare moments in a day. The vehicle physics is certainly not realistic, but rather sort of cartoony. You can drive up vertical walls, spin mid-air and many other impossible but entertaining things. It is particularly crazy on the moon.
It is as competitive as you want to suit your mood. You can just wander around exploring and doing your own stunts or you can join in the events, which are often rather silly. In my opinion, it is more like kids messing about in a school playground than an olympics (I mean this in a good way!).
Could it be improved? A couple of things from CD2 are missing: changing your tank colours (although there are other customisations) and some of the comic book style special effects, both of which I rather liked.
However, the graphics and gameplay are vastly improved. It looks great played on a big TV. I recommend it.

Very simple to play but harder to get good. Ideal if you just have short periods of time for gaming, as there are 'events' (race, collect, find the ring, etc) every few minutes where you can compete with other online players. Alternatively you can just explore. Includes an addictive tank battle game.
