great game

fantastic game! this is the resident evil i remember, not the 4-6 series! i say that because in those, you pretty much have unlimited ammo. I loved the limed ammo aspect to these games.

PROS:
Mr.X.- this guy gave me nightmares back in the PSX days, and well.. he does now!

Zombies - even more deadly than ever before

Enviroment - I love the new RPD design! gorgeous and so much detail.

Story - some changes but mainly the same.

Doors - well, in the original, you ran from a zombie and go through the door. your scott free! well not anymore, they will hunt your ass down and break the doors if enough of them hit it or time goes by.

Scare Scenes - Have fun! RE2 vets will have fun with this when a scare scene doesnt happen like it did in the original. only to have it happen before or after. its a nice twist for the vets.


CONS:
Enemies - Some enemies from the orignal are missing :(

Headshots - Headshots are not a 1shot kill at times. even though they should be. sometimes it takes around 3-6 bullets(hand gun) to take zombies down with headshots.

Time to complete - Now im not sure if its just me or not, but i was able to beat leons scenario in under 3 hours and thats with me getting lost/confused at times. the original was longer imo.

Game redesign - now as i said above, the redesign is great! but i do miss some of the rooms from the roiginal. i would say about 30% of the rooms from the original have been removed entirely and not replaced.

Puzzles - they took out some of the good puzzles from the original. wish they hadnt!

Knife - why make the knife breakable? Iike i know why, but still.....


Aside fromt he Cons the game is still fantastic! i highly recommend it and is a great treat/scare for all!

i give it a 9/10 (really dislike the headshot bullet lost. i can accept everything else)

get ready boys, the PS4 players are disconnecting from when we beat thier asses. i see nothing has changed since SF4.
