GUNS. GUNS. MORE GUNS!

This game takes on both the FPS genre and RPG and mashes the two together to create something great.
You explore the giant world of Pandora, killing most things in your way. The game is whacky and completely nuts, you will open LOTS and LOTS of containers and everytime you walk up to one, even small ones you will be excited for what is inside it - even though it is probably just some ammo. Even though the game is nuts the charactars themselves are great, along with the plot. You will find yourself laughing at the stupidity of the game one moment then being drawn into the plot the next. Handsome Jack, the villian of the story is a great villian, he is crazy and hateable yet still hilarious, the supporting characters are all very interesting and then theres well... Claptrap.

The art style of this game is very nice making for some very beautiful areas, the use of colour is very good making for interesting beatiful areas to play in and explore, and well backtracking. Backtracking is the main problem in the game, you will find yourself going from one side of an area to the other as you go to a door, its stuck, travel across the area, to travel back to the door, then to go back to a teleporter then walk all the way to your quest giver to turn it in. This can get very annoying but you wont notice as you are just enjoying killing things on your way.

Each character is very lovable in their own way leading to some very fun quests from them. When you kill an enemy loot will just spew everywhere and you just want to check out what gun they dropped. The weapons in the game are randomally created leading to very intersting and great guns for your enjoyment.

When the game was released in 2011 it was herladed as a master peice, a title that it still lives up to in 2015. The world is magical and so big, you can play however you want, be it a mage blowing everything up or a complete heavy armour tank, or you can mix the two and be both, you can fight as an imperial or as part of the rebellion, be a master assasain or theif or maybe completely immerse yourself and be a hunter, living of the land. The possibilites are endless. I find myself playing for hours at a time, wondering around Skyrim doing small quests or just exploring. You can do so many things that arent the main quest, the whole world is so open for you to explore and love. The modding community is wonderful adding hours onto your playtime. There is so much to love about this game and so much you can do - All I can say is to just start playing and find your own way.

Its free! No pay to win! Kill things! Hats! Hats! MORE HATS.

The gameplay is very fun, it does require a bit of time to get good at - when you are good at the game you will find yourself putting hours into it, the community is great leading to many crazy things happening in the game making it even better!
