is this hammerwatch 2?
-not really, its pretty different to hammerwatch and heroes of hammerwatch.

well then what is it?
-so far it feels more like a mix of CRPGs and Elden Ring oddly enough. just with hammerwatch combat and some of the mechanics carried over.

is it fun????
-in my limited time playing it so far, yeah. i don't personally mind the dead ends and backtracking because those always were a part of how i played heroes of hammerwatch (full clearing maps for ore was very slow but very effective.)

is it for everyone?
-probably not, unless you temper your expectations greatly that you are getting into an elden ring style game where progression is slow and gradual but pretty satisfying and difficult to boot.

do you recommend it?
-yeah, just go into it with different expectations from heroes of hammerwatch and hammerwatch or else you are just gonna have a real sad time because things are very different.
