Early Access Review
Found the game extremely mundane and boring time killer.

Start extremely simple, click this, click that, run back and forth between here and there multiple times.
Then progresses to still simple, just click more on different things, run back and forth to different places.

You can get employees to do the clicking for you, you just need to click on them and then click on the shelves to give them more items for them to click with.

Had no issues with performance or bugs but it just felt like clunk time waste. Maybe has a bit of potential after early access. I dont think the premise of drugs = cool or drugs = funny or whatever is enough.

Warhammer 3 is the most dissapointing release of the 3. Seems like anything the developers learned during warhammer 2 was promptly forgotten for 3. Even a year and a half after launch there are still many issue and bugs including full game crashing bugs. You can tell very little care and thought went into this game. Simple stuff like heros can level up to 50 but they dont even 50 points in skill tree, so every turn you get alerted to assign skill points to a hero THAT IS NOT even possible to do. This is kind of a minor issue, but they said they would fix it over a year ago and still have not.
it just goes to show the care going into the game. The DLCs (besides chorfs, which everyone knew was coming) have been worse quality too.

I guess they spent all their efforts making the terrible siege system slightly better, but everyone i know STILL skips (auto resolves) the siege battles anyways so all that was a giant waste. I have put in least number of hours into 3 than either 1 or 2.

Possibly best movement in any BR shooter.
Sliding, sprinting, climbing all feels good.

Everything else feels sub-par and getting worse with updates.
Cheaters/hackers are common.
Bugs are everywhere, with more bugs introduced with each event and update.
Server-side code is not good, except to die behind walls and doors.
Get dropped from game constantly, get stuck in infinite load screens.
Expect to play as a duo squad in at least a third of trio pub games.

No matchmaking, ranked system is overly simple in the worst ways.

Expensive 'micro' transactions, but unlike the rest of the game the store rarely goes down and gets immediate developer support if it does. Also, tons of skins and recolors. Obviously, skins and making money comes before a good game.

If you are new player, you will be matched against 12 hour a day twitch streamers with huge K/A ratios, if you are not against their smurfs.

So, my friend made fun of me for buying this game because he said it had flash-game graphics.

While the general graphics are pretty simple, they are well done and I think look great.
I am actually glad that the game isn't packed full for heavy and normally glitchy 3d graphics.
They are not pixelated, and give no feeling of 'I drew these up in MS.Paint on my lunchbreak'.
With that said, the graphics, which I like, are maybe the worst part of this amazing game.

The game itself has a very simple feel to it. I almost felt like I had played it before. For me it has an oddly powerful immersion factor. The combat is very strategic and though it uses some rng mechanics, it has rarely if ever felt like I was not entirely in-control of the outcome. I easy become very attached to my mercenaries which is not a good thing in this game, as yes, they will probably die. A lot will die. There was a couple hail marys where rng let me down, and I would scream as the goblins wolfriders ate my brothers. But would always end up feeling more like "I should have not run him forward" Or why didn't i use shieldwall instead of the long shot attack, instead of screaming about the RNG screwing me (which is a much more common feeling in XCOM).

I guess this is a bit of a ramble. But, this has been a surprisingly great game! Never heard of it before seeing it in steam discovery(?) queue. I am not much of an impulse buyer but this game has certainly been worth what I paid for it.
Cheers to the devs for focusing on the meat of the game and not just frills.

May not be one of the prettiest games I have played, but it is amazing.
Over 400 hours in and I still am learning new things. I have hardly explored any of the 'realms' but the first.

Once I was handly winning and opened the gates of hell and everyone died to terrible swarms of locusts.

I only play alone, and have not seen any mods and yet this is still absolutely great game.
