Garbage anti-cheat wrecked my brand new SSD.

Be warned, if the game crashes just once on you, it may prevent you from playing any other game without crashing within half an hour of playing them.

The anti-cheat is just as nefarious as people said before the game released.

Think it's just me? I'm imagining things? I'm the only one?
Think again:

One of the best fighting games ever made, right up there with Street Fighter 6.

However, the game tells you "just pick a character you find cool"; but if you're a beginner I would strongly advise against picking Steve Fox unless you really want to work hard from the get go while others can just mash buttons and be fine.

If you're like me, the kind of person who doesn't like it when open world games litter their map with enemies and make sure you can't travel more than 100 feet without having to fight something, or run/hide from it, stay away.

Other than that, it's decent, except the story starts interesting and then keeps beating around the bush for its entirety about a so-called "mystery" (what is project zero dawn) that I already figured out by the time act 1 was over.

However, I'm smart, so that might be the problem, maybe it's still gonna be mysterious to you until the reveal.
But the name is kind of a dead giveaway.

Also it crashes rather often.

Probably great, just like the first game was amazing.
However, doesn't even have a walk button on keyboard.
Forced to jog/sprint everywhere or use a controller.

Extremely annoying.
Debating getting a refund.

EDIT: Walk option now available. Not exactly in an ideal way, but still.

Consider following this curator if, like me, not having something as basic as the option to walk (no, I said walk, not jog) is a constant issue for you:

Without a doubt the best sci-fi game ever made.

Even with 2.0 it's a far lesser game with far fewer and far less exciting features and gameplay that the promotional material had people believe.

I got an excellent memory, seems like other people don't, cause they let CDPR gaslight them into thinking the only problem with this game at release was the bugs and performances.

What they promised was basically a sci-fi GTA. And it's not quite that at all, it's much closer to a sci-fi Skyrim or a Cyberpunk Fallout, hell, even these games would've had a 3rd person, which CDPR scrapped clearly because development wasn't going well to begin with, and 3rd person is just MUCH harder to do right than 1st person.

But idiots somehow believed their "bEcAuSe 1sT pErsOn iS mOrE iMmeRsiVe" excuse. I don't know how. I guess they are as much dumber than me as I always thought.

Worst part is, I love it.
It's got an amazing story, amazing writing, the open world is intricate and spectacular.
But we've still been lied to, been promised the moon and got delivered a pebble.
And too few people are remembering that, let alone making a stand.

One of the best remakes and horror games ever made.
And I'm not even much into that genre.

It's incredibly vast, and there's missions to find, literally everywhere, scripted, and given by fully voiced NPCs all with their own personalities.

I'll compare the extremely secondary and bonus stuff like outpost building, mining and exploration to No Man's Sky (in which it's not secondary but is the entire point of, with zero decent content to speak of otherwise) when I have time to even use them.

Haven't made it past the 3rd boss yet, but I love it.
It's the only mech game worth playing in my eyes, and I've been waiting for one that plays just like this all my life.

If you've ever felt like it would be really cool to know how to play fighting games but were always intimidated to try.
Don't be. This is the perfect entry for newcomers, and this is the first fighting game I actually ever buy myself.

You can start with Modern (simplified controls) and then transition to Classic once you've learned every basics skills that don't require you to remember or pull off complicated inputs.

And even putting that aside, if you're already a hardcore fighting game fan, this is clearly the best fighting game ever made.
