Leaving the previous negative here for record keeping:

Sadly, I'm having to change my positive review to a negative. This is a great game, but I cannot, and will not, abide by the current push for mandatory PSN linking, which will ban current users that have purchased the game whilst living in one of the over 100 countries banned from, or otherwise unable to access PSN.

This is before even taking into account the extensive lack of security in Sony's databases, which suffer security/data breaches effectively on a yearly basis.

This is an idiotic decision, and my one hope is that they roll back on this as soon as possible.

Honestly with how much they tooted their own horn with this game you'd think it's an actual return to form. Nope. Releases massively unfinished, buggy, crashes every other match, missing basic features that every CoD has had since CoD4, still no real Hardcore modes, and somehow, they managed to break the game even more with this Season 1 update.

Do not waste your 70€ or $ or whatever your currency is, the Infinity Ward of today doesn't deserve it.

I shudder to imagine what this game'll turn into one year from now when it's handed over to the utter incompetents at Sledgehammer, but that's in the future, and this review is for -now-. Don't buy it.

10/10 Would have kids with my daughter's daughter again.
