Though it's still in Alpha, 7DTD delivers a genuine survival crafting game that allows for almost total freedom in an expansive wasteland filled with an ever-changing environment and ever-looming threats of zombie hordes. Fortify one of hundreds of randomly generated buildings or just create your own base to hold off the onslaught, then loot and craft your arsenal to defend you and your friends! I've been nothing but impressed with this game so far, and I'm looking forward to the finished product.
