Quite possibly the best shooter I have ever played.

A game with great content, lots of good and worthwhile dlc, but a very high learning curve.

The updates and support that Paradox has provided thus far has been wonderful. Probably needs a ground combat rework still (without going as far as turning it into a checkers minigame), and could also benefit from the ability to customize your own name lists, more appearances. Other mechanical changes might be a potential additional nerf to aquatics, and weighted civics that cost more or less civics slots, since they're really no more equal in output than the species traits.

Thirty minutes into this game I was reduced to tears. This phenomenon continued inexplicably as I progressed. This game needed to happen to me.
