31 aug 2020 since my last play, so i have no idea about crash issue about this game, since my last playtime game version is different from now.
but, be wise
every version/updates have it's own problems, and ... some crash issue.

if you wish to buy zero dawn, it's better you check community forums,
some of them said the game is fine
some of them (me included) said the game have crash issue

for me, this game is the worst nightmare if we're talk about "pc optimization" and having high end VGA card not makes us "invincible" from crashed (some yes but most of them crashed)
but if we're talk about the gameplay this zero dawn is a good game
