Just don't

This game was great for a long time, and i have been here for almost its whole life, but the greed of Gaijin has ruined another classic.
There are a lot of current problems this game has, and its far beyond the meta.

-The Pay to Win has reached an all time high, with weekly packs constantly inciting players to buy them with a negligible discount, the introduction of the in-game premium currency has only worsened this problem to a new level.

-The daily challenges got better for veterans, but now, new players will struggle to get anywhere with the badges locked behind competitive Clans and Bands, more for the rich and powerful, down with the poor and weak. This makes it even harder for those doing free-to-play and a more extreme disadvantage then ever before, which in the end will likely be the downfall of this game.

-The Devs. We have lots of evidence over the years that they do not play their own game. they make decision's based off fabricated poll's, and complaints from people who don't even know what they are talking about, once again every opinion they likely see is from those with a price tag over their head.

This game was very promising during its closed beta and was a breath of fresh air for many people who enjoyed voxel build and destroy genre, but i doubt most of the community have any optimism left in these Devs or this title, with hundreds of hardened veterans already have departed from the game for good. I still hold faith that through our cries the Dev's can still hear and save this title from abandonment and death.

Final Verdict and TL.DR, unless you are already set in this game, stay away, do not play into their hands.

I've played an overwhelming long amount of Xbox 360 Terraria. more than 800 hours of it, I've got to say, it's one of the best side games of all time, building castles, mansions, collecting accessories, and creating sets of armor is only breaking the surface of Terraria's content. I only recently bought it on steam, but i will enjoy this for years to come
