Can't even tell if the game is good or not, it keeps crashing every 5 to 10 minutes tops. Tried troubleshooting for most of the day with no change.

Game is quite nice, but it's not worth the price.

For the graphics, attention to details and polish it has, if I weren't a fan of the franchise, I'd say a fair price would be about 40 bucks. Wait for it to be on sale and then it's an instant-buy for anyone that enjoys action RPGs!

Most of the recent negative reviews are due to a fumble Sony did with Helldivers 2. Unsure why this game ended up mixed in, but the game is actually great.

Early Access Review
What's in there already is nice, but this should have not really ever released as an Early Access. It's not a game from some indie company and it's not even a new type of game that needs community feedback. It's a sequel from a established company with one of the biggest game publishers behind it.
It should have released with at least feature parity with KSP 1 at release.
If it went to Early Access with at least a mod support on par of KSP it'd have been ok, as the community would have been able to provide fixes and contents while the devs worked on it, much like was the case with KSP1, but alas, not even that seems to be in.

There are some nice QoL improvements, but some of those are still clunky to use (manouver point interface) and other changes are actually WAY WAY worse (fuel pipes are just BAD in KSP2, so yeah... maybe SOMEHOW they managed to actually need an Early Access for community feedback?)

As it stands, if you want to play KSP you should still buy the first one as it's much better and more complete, not to mention the enormous amount of community created mods and content.

Hopefully I'll get to change this review soon and I'll be following the updates closely, but for now it's a Thumbs Down for me.
I still have hope for this game and trust that they still can make it work. So, fingers crossed I'll be able to give it a thumbs up soon.

Looked promising at the start, but the "gameplay" at the base is really shallow and becomes useless halfway in the game.
No indication of what might or might not needed in a mission so you either bring random people or just scout and start again.
Interface is pretty clunky overall but especially when interacting with dead enemies that are close to each other.
Story and dialogues are too self glorifing to the point it becomes annoying really fast.
While AI in this kind of game is always bad, in this it's much much worse (just one of dozen examples: if you kill a dog in a unit with a stone noone will notice and keep walking, when they come back they find the corpse of the dog and sound the alarm)
Overall it's not a horrible game, but still one of the worst in this genre I tried yet. Might be worth your time just if you exhausted all alternatives.

Nice idea and graphics are not so bad, but the "minimal interface" and all interaction in general, both with items and the world, are abysmal. It might be worth playing then, but stay away from it now.
