Helldivers2 has had ups and downs, but generally continues to be a great game to play with friends or randoms.

Fantastic, just fantastic.

Elements of rogue-likes, space-flight, interesting mechanics and a story that, while to start with was pretty dry, has developed into something that I'm genuinely REALLY eager to see the conclusion of. (Having just finished Chapter V)

Having just completed the game (in beta). I'm not really sure what to add. It's a beautifully and lovingly crafted game. I wish I could shake the hands of the very small team that made it. If you lot happen to read this- You've done a tremendous job. The entire ending sequence had me sweating and some of the interactions genuinely gave me goosebumps. Absolutely brilliant.

I chose to return to the farm and let Thompson be admiral. Screw going back to the fleet, give me a farm and a family any day of the week.

I also actually auditioned for a couple of roles in this game when they first started development, and sadly didn't get the parts, but I'm glad to still be able to contribute by playing and reporting any bizarre issues or bugs I find.

Completing this game made me seriously sad that it was over.

It's one of those games.

50 hours of gameplay was absolutely worth it- I will be going back in for NG+ and the challenge modes.

An exceptional game, doubling as a great example of how studio interference can destroy something beautiful.

Nobody will see this. Nobody will read this.
But I hope that those who made it know they created something wonderful.

Crashes too often, many rediculous gamebreaking glitches.
Ruins the HL2 experience

I played 100 hours in the first week of owning this.

I set up a VPN in Japan so that I could play it 12 hours early.

No regrets then.

No regrets now.

DLC could be better, game could be better.

But this was still worth waiting for.

Yes.

Currently in BETA, I believe. And yet it's brilliant. It runs so smoothly, the anti-aliasing and textures could do with a boot up the arse, but other than that the game's glorious and smooth and kinda spooky. Players are generally friendly and not out to kill eachother; oh.. and you can open basically everything.

>wandering around, looking for stuff
>see a pile of stuff behind a fence
>jump over fence to get stuff
>trapped in a square fence-cage with power relays in it
>realise that the pile of stuff is from other people jumping into this venus-human-trap
"oh ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell"
>drop all the loot out of sight of outside the fence so nobody else gets trapped
>suicide
>end up finding the trap again later without realising
>get trapped again

Pretty gud game ~IGN

For anyone in love with the old Command And Conquer games, get this game.
For anyone who wants to try a genuinely challenging game where you have to use the most important muscle of all, get this game.
for anyone who finds themselves more often than not bored of playing the same crap over and over, get this game.

A genuinely challenging strategic military game whereby you MUST employ genuine tactics to simply survive. Winning is another matter entirely.

9/10 - Multiplayer is a bit unbalanced as yet.. you'll see what I mean.
