The initial game loop is fun, but having played up to day 60, it honestly feels just more of the same.

If I was was buying this game with this knowledge, in the first place I probably would not have payed the current asking price, but I would have bought it at a lower price.

IF you have played the demo, you have already seen most of what this game offers.

Entertainment value Good for 2+ hours of play.
Replay-ability, low

Short enjoyable idle 2 different modes that take a few hours each to complete. Leaves me wanting more.

For the current price of the game, I would definitely say it is value for money and would be happy to pay more for expansions

Game has been abandoned.

Progression is horrendously broken. This isnt an idle game, its an offline game.

Loving the game so far, it's so easy to pick up and play but has depth that requires some experience to master.

It plays a lot like Factorio but right now it is very sandbox like, and almost no way to loose on an easy map. (can run out of resources on more difficult settings i guess).

Mod support is planned so that will add further depth to this game.
No multiplayer, is planned (maybe after release is the rumour and maybe mods will add this?)

The game feels relatively balanced

If you like Factorio and Satisfactory, i would place this game in the middle of both of these games with it being closer to Factorio, and would recommend sending the Devs some cash and playing it for yourself.

An excellent follow on if you love the gameplay of previous creeper worlds,

But if you love the story like i did, then i was left somewhat unsatisfied, following on from the the developers previous games, I had high expectations that the story would add more depth to Creeper world universe than it actually did.

A shame but still worth a buy as it is an excellent follow on which is sure to be filled with crpl scripted maps in the future that will extend the life of this game far into the future.

What can i say about this game;

It has the likeness of minecraft and rust, plain and simple, so im going to use minecraft/rust as an indirect comparison.

Remember before you even think about buying this game that it is early alpha and the developers aka nerdkingdom do not to my knowledge have any releases of any games under their belt, they are backed and supported by feedthebeast so based on this im giving them a moderate to low risk of getting a game thats not finished and thrown together.

Disclaimer;
As your reading this you may think this game is not for you or maybe im giving it a negative review in writing but recommending it anyway. My review is based on the current state of the game and will likely not reflect some if not all of the finished product and will only probably be relevent for the near future of the games development.

(This is quite a long review so if you cant be bothered reading on ive included a overview at the bottom)

Gameplay;
You play as what i would describe as an elvin creature who has been dumped on a proceeduraly generated world (using the famous world seed system) there are numberous different resourses available to you and a crafting tech tree that can be progressed up.

At the moment it is fairly easy to survive the "energy" (food meter) is easy to fill and once you have found an apple or orange tree you will never go hungry again. Additionally the AI is clunky and stupid, the only time your in trouble from them is in wide open spaces as they like to run into walls wherre you can stand just out of range and kill them.

Additionally your own navigation is hindered by just 1 block height (explains the clunky ai) meaning getting out of your mine takes a lot of jumping and a bit of patience (Yes minecraft does this too but you dont slip back down again)

Mining;
Most of your resources for level 1 tech tree and any basic building material can be found lying around across the entire map, but the tools currently are unbalanced with the pickaxe and the hammer doing the job to quickly and of course the shovel doing the job to slowly and higher level tech tree ores are very rare and hard to find a few balancing issues then here but that particular feature is fresh out of the box.

Building;
The building aspect of this game definately needs some work and you wont be building mega structures just yet as block placement i find is a little bit fiddely, but on the bright side anything you build does come together nicely with the textures all blending seemlessly together.

Mod Support;
Yes im giving this its own section because it remarkable at how easily modded this game is in fact it pretty much has about the same or better mod support than a lot of games out there. For an early alpha thats impressive.
You wont see that many mods yet but i believe they will come strong and fast as just looking at the way mods are imported into the game it seems remarkably too good to be true.

Graphics;
Not much to say here compared to rust and minecraft I would say they are miles better.

Overview;
If you like minecraft or rust and want to support a game that has soo much potential to be better than both of them then for $9.99 or £6.00ish you really are not risking a lot of money by buying early alpha and with the developers letting us know the price is due to rise as more features are imported into the game, it really is a great time to invest in this game.

I look at the review above and think to myself it really looks quite negative but trust me providing you remember that it is an alpha you wont care about that. With multiplayer support on its way im looking forward to loading this game backup again once the multiplayer support is added.

For those of you interested in a polished off game with as many features as minecraft, alls i have to say is wait for a later beta or final release.

A puzzle game about a piece of bread an old guy and a phycyatrist that thinks the old guys crazy.

Where to start.

The good:
The game has some challenge to it and completing the levels fast enough and without spoiling the bread is even more challenging

You can pretty much make your way to the toaster any way you want to go and more challenging paths are quicker but keeping your bread unspoilt on these routes are easier said than done.

The bad:
The controls on a gamepad are clunky at best
The controls on the keyboard are even more clunky and difficult to master
It feels like the same old routine on each of the levels.

What this game needs is a sandbox mode not just to practice on but to to roam the room smashing up the place etc.

Recommenation:
All in all the game is fairly complete already but the controls make it difficult me to give this game a good review but the developers have made games and finished making them before so buying this in early access is less of a risk than your fresh off the assembly line developer.

If you like puzzle games then nabbing this game in the sale might be worth but i dont think i would ofbought it if it wasnt in the sale .

Overall I shall be keeping my eye on this game closely as it develops and at the moment for an early access game i am satified with content is provided for an early access game.
