This is a brutally fun game. Sometimes unforgiving, but you do a little better each time. I enjoy playing the base game as well as adding a few mods here and there to shake things up a bit. Best played in a group, but I've gotten pretty far solo as well. There's a lot of replayability since maps, scrap, and monsters are mostly random. Have had lots of jumpscares, laughs, and "oh sh*t" moments. I'm excited to see how the game keeps progressing

I highly recommend this game, especially to people who enjoyed the original Risk of Rain. The remaster is absolutely beautiful while still feeling like a good expansion on a good game. I love the quality of life changes they've made in the game, it adds more fun without taking away the natural difficulty that we all know and love from RoR.

Amazing game, many many hours worth of gameplay. Definitely a difficult game to start with, but so much fun whether you win, or die. Great story behind the game as well.
