To be honest this is what I love about 'Life is Strange' franchise, the beauty in ordinary day activity.

Life is hard enough in the first episode and the first hour of this one so when we get to just doing ordinary thing like laundrin shirt, selecting gift at market, cooking food, playing boardgame, etc. all these ordinary thing are not ordinary here since we know how life has turned for both of them so when we get to see they enjoying ordinary stuff it not just chores or having fun but it's emotional-healing for both us as the player and them as the character there.

I can see why people don't enjoy this episode since it turn into some sort of character driven slice-of-llife game but this is what make this game so beautiful to me so thank you DONTNOD, for selecting this way.
