Very nice graphics, relaxing music and a totally addictive gameplay loop. If you like Stacklands, buying WitchHand is a must.

Overall I enjoyed my playthrough. The world and atmosphere is incredible. The art style is perfect and the character animations are full of emotion, though at times they don't always match the action occurring in the environment. Trying to figure out the story from the little information we get is fun, leading to a fairly satisfying ending.

I do take issue with some of the puzzles though. I wouldn't categorise it as a puzzle game, but there are some puzzle sequences. When the puzzles work they feel satisfying, but more often than not its a struggle due to the janky interactions that require you to be in unfairly specific locations to activate. After the first hour I noticed the janky interactions less but maybe this is me just getting used to it

Hades feels like the result of all the lessons learned from previous Supergiant titles. They've always been great at crafting a world, delivering wonderful graphics and creating killer soundtracks, but this takes it to the next level. The tight controls make it feel incredibly responsive and satisfying. The upgrade variety stops it from getting stale and provides plenty of room for experimentation. If you have the slightest interest in rogue-likes, hack n slash or any previous Supergiant games then you're bound to find some enjoyment from this.

So many bugs. Basically, someone took all of the bugs from dayz mod and all the bugs from WarZ and combined them into one massive bug filled pile of crap.

Fun concept, horrible execution.

Really good story with fantastic pacing. Hands down the best voice acting I've ever heard, with the conversations flowing really well. I completed the game in just under 3 hours, but felt there was still more to see. I'm glad they didn't drag things out just to boost that completion time and I felt that despite this game being shorter than most, it didn't waste any of my time with meaningless tasks. The graphics were fantastic and the whole feel of the world drastically changed based on the time of day.

I don't think I'm going to shut up about this game for a long time.
