Toxic community, toxic dev.

This game is dying.

They keep adding new game modes when they can't muster up more than 26k consecutive players at peak. They're now up to 7 different game modes (not counting private matches), which splits their player base up so badly that you'll see the same players over and over again, and you'll be matched with players well outside your skill level in both directions.

This results in the game only having two types of matches: you're absolutely dominating the match and there is no challenge, or you are being absolutely dominated and there is no hope to compete. You can look up the player count since its launch and see the effect this has had on their player base. Spoiler, it looks like this: 📉

Now, because the game is dying, they've stopped moderating their community and the game is rapidly filling up with racists and toxic creeps.

Genuinely bummed, they had a good thing going. The unique game design, creative risks, and cosmetics promised a novel and perpetually engaging experience. Unfortunately their business decisions continue to drive this game straight into the ground. My guess is some executive who is fully disconnected from the community has been pushing these insane decisions, but who knows.

Don't waste your time or money.

Simple, well balanced, really fun to make builds. Not a whole heck of a lot of content, but enough that unlocking 100% of it + all achievements is satisfying. Definitely worth the price tag.
