Opened a chest which took me to a cave full of crystals.

Lost 20k souls, got molested by centipedes with homing needles that killed me in 2 hits and died to the Fallingstar Beast for 2 hours until I gave up.

10/10 would play again.

This game taught me how to enjoy death.

RE-RE-REVIEW:

I only really pick up these games for the story, while the game play itself 'felt' nice the story was just not worth £50. Half the hours I spent completing this were grinding Forward Operating Bases and structures that were essentially copy paste.

Playing through like a normal human being doesn't get you the 'Wasp' at your FOBs until you've already completed the game, so you'll find yourself stealing ghosts and banshees to clear areas quickly.

It felt like I was just grinding through the repetitive stuff to get to the story, of which there was little and there was a ton of copy/paste.

I feel cheated. I hope that there will be a free campaign extension added because we were robbed in this game. Tons of questions asked, not many answered. 343 need to take some story telling lessons from Bungie.

RE-REVIEW:

After updating all drivers and removing HD Texture Packs, along with some other Windows tweaks, the game now plays smoothly on my system.

Overall the game is fun, the story is a bit lacking so far and it feels a bit grindy and repetitive based on the whole 'open world, clear out the bases and collect the items' vibe. I don't play Halo Campaigns for that, it feels a bit empty and I'm not really a klepto/collector.

I'd have appreciated more focus on the storyline and designing fun areas instead of going for such a big map.

Even ODST managed to pull off the 'open world' thing while retaining a very strong story.

I personally am not looking for someone to string out my hours played using copy paste quest lines like world of warcraft.

LAUNCH DAY REVIEW:

Unplayable performance on Campaign.

FPS drops constantly. Refunded it.

10900KF, 32GB RAM, 4GB GTX980 (i know the card is old but it should play the campaign still)

The most annoying part is that if I spend a couple of hours trying to do performance fixes, I won't be able to refund it if it doesn't work.

This happened to me with Steam before on Just Cause 3 and they wouldn't refund me because I 'played' it too long, but I was just trying to fix the FPS.

Combination of crappy refund policy and terrible launch.

Best single player fantasy game even in 2021.

Witcher 3 gets all the hype but this the real ♥♥♥♥.

They need to remaster or remake this asap ffs.

Just a great game to unwind with, but can get pretty tech near the end game, so plenty to do for people with optimisation fetishes.

Feels very homely and warm, tons of fun, very well guided and massive fun with friends.

Spent hours and hours getting duck-roasted by my little brother.

Could not recommend this enough for a laugh while you've got your mates over for a night of games.

It's just a perfect arcade game to have left on while you're all chatting and drinking perhaps where people can just jump in and out.

This game feels super empty, like it's way too sandboxy for me.

I kinda feel like I'm very alone when I'm playing this and everything feels very cold. There's just vague goals to achieve every level and no rules on how to get there.

It misses personality.

6 games for £30 and they're all either a great port or completely overhauled.

Absolute no brainer if you never played Halo games, if you have, also absolute no brainer just to replay the campaigns with pretty graphics.
