I hate the ocean. I hate water and drowning and the idea that deadly sea creatures are nearby. But I love resource gathering games and this is nothing if not resource gathering coupled with extreme paranoia and stress on an alien planet that is almost entirerly water. The storyline is quiet but compelling, and helped give purpose in something so big and vast like an ocean planet.

It's a very calming and casual game, really cute and simple! I enjoy playing it every now and then to burn off some stress and have a little fun.

An absoutely well made and beautiful game. The story is excellent, the characters are enjoyable, and the gameplay is equal parts clever and fun. The world the story takes place in has been crafted with great care, and it aids the story well as you guide Niko through the game. I can't stress enough how good this game is, and how well worth it is for the small price.

To avoid spoilers, I won't say much else, but Niko's journey through OneShot is one of the best games I've played in a very long time. Please give it a shot.

It's a good, fun JRPG game. The story follow many typical elements characteristic of the Tale Of franchise, so it does feel a bit stale if you've played any of their other games, but the characters are what really make the story pop. Sorey & and his group of friends aren't necessarily the most unique in the industry, or even the series itself, but they struggle and interact and deal with hard decisions and consequences realistically and with great depth and emotion to them.

The gameplay itself is pretty standard - real time battles where you need to keep an eye on your health and magic levels while mashing buttons in certain combo orders to attack and dodge and so on. If you've played other Tale of games, particuarly Tales of Xillia, this will be pretty familiar to you. The weapon system is absoluely a hardache, though, and ridiculous to work with.

The music has some nice stand out arrangements, the usual "type" of music that Tale of has is there, and it's defnitely good and pleasant to listen to. But some of the best tracks are from Go Shiima, who adds much to the score with original and amazing songs.

The length of the game is about 40 to 60 ish hours, depending on how much time you devote to weapons, side quests (some of which become mandatory to progress the plot towards the end), and so on. It runs a bit on the short side as far as JRPGs go, but it's still a good game all round. It's by no means perfect, but if you like watching a great cast of characters interact and joke around and deal with extremely difficult situations, I'd recommend giving a go.

it's hard, which is half its selling point, and it's got kickass music, which is the other half.

if you have good reflexes and like a challenge, give this game a try.

This is an addicting game once you get somewhere and start figuring out how everything works - it's a little more complicated and longer than it looks. It's fun, especially with friends because you can all work towards a common goal and pool resources together, fight together, etc. Building components for the people who just like to build, fighting for the people who just like to fight, and crafting for those people who wish alchemy was a real thing but it's not. All in all I honestly love this game to bits for how much content it offers and how well it all works. After so many huge updates, it's got a ton of great content and a lot of variety. Even after all this time, it's still one of my most favorite games to play. And it still recieves content and updates after their jounreys end, a labor of love indeed.

Beautiful graphics, fun battle system with many different weapons to swap and choose from, interesting story, and a narrator with an awesome voice to lead you through it all.
