They make it. I buy it, I break it.
Been gaming all my life, from LARP, DnD and Pogs as a kid.
Worked up to trading my lunch for TCGs, Monopoly money and Gen one console games.
Made it to school and broke into SNES, Gameboy and 90s Comps.
High school was a blur of Blizzard and Microsoft games.
After that I had to work like an adult and broke into Laptop gaming, which is like PC gaming, but with a fake graphics card.
Half way to retiring now and I've played more games than I can remember, and have only finished a handful.

My whole immediate family is gamers from Kings Quest to WoW and Dragon Age. I'm really good at a game when I pick it up, but never can seem to get better after day one. Fell into a bad run of FTP games for a long time that was great till I started to hate the toxic human race. Easily could have made it to retirement on Minecraft, Civ5 and Skyrim alone.
Now I just smash out games with friends and family.
