I know that there are many reviews out there for this game, but I decided to give my two cents. I think the main focus here shouldn't be what the game isn't but rather what it is.

I've played a few space sims besides this game, (not on my Steam profile) and it is something different entirely. It's about the experience of playing rather than the goal-oriented gaming I am used to. Go to point A complete quest get money go to point B buy weapons go to point C complete mission again.... That's not what this game is about. I didn't want another game like what I had, I wanted something fresh.

Now I know that many of you out there feel like you were lied to. Some say that there's not a game worth $60 here, it is repetitive and every planet is the same. Sure, there are times when you seem to be going the same things again and again, but if you only focus on the task you'll miss what really counts. The game is a work of art. The planets I've been to have all been unique, every alien looks different, every ship is different. Nothing was the same when I jumped to a new system.

I enjoy Playing No Man's Sky. I look at it as if I never read news before it was released. I don't consider all the haters saying they were lied to, because I wanted to know for myself. Regardless of the reasons why, some things aren't in the game and that's fine. I think we are going to see continued support in the future from Hello Games and Sean Murray, they've already released a patch that fixes most of our issues. If we are patient, I'm sure you will see what this game is really about, and if not there's still a chance that it could become the game you want.
