Super fun, challenging, and engaging. The devs seem to be adjusting things which is good. I'm almost to end game for the first time, and I'm excited.

Sony removed the PSN requirement. That was the right move. Game is great fun. Hopefully wins GOTY.

I bought this game yesterday and have proceeded to put 9 hours in. I really like this game. It is very good looking and I have found it challenging. I've only played the campaign on the first map so far and I'm maybe 3/4 done with the tech tree. I really like how the game gives you tasks that almost act as a tutorial. It keeps me pressing forward with some direction so that it does not feel as circular as these types of games do. I do get lost when I notice my resources draining and can't really figure out why. It might be nice to have a general overview page that shows total production in real time, it may exist but I haven't tried looking because I'm pretty wrapped up in the game play.

Overall I am impressed with this early access game. I don't usually write reviews but I really am enjoying this game. I don't really know anything about balancing a game or whatever, I'm just a simple man... but it feels pretty good to me. The only issue I've had is on my first play yesterday, I had just finished the tutorial and was looking at one of the screens, I think the one to set food rations. When I closed that window all of the trees were gone for the rest of that play session.
