Great game, a must buy if you don't have it, especially when on sale.

Over all, I give EC a good review.

But there are some changes I'd like to see-
Loadout points - the loadouts for personalized classes we made should have more than what we are given, and especially for the elites that are later unlocked.
PVE - needs more maps, and use of the vehciles in them
Chats - there are only chats in this game when in battle; we need a faction chat, guild chat, war party chat, and perhaps even a global chat.
War party - there need to be a war party list (think like a server list for games) instead of create a public or private one or quick join.
Ingame friends list - it needs to be it's own list that players add people to themselves, it should not have anything to do with our steam's friends lists.

And also I feel that this game going f2p was a BIG mistake. F2P has doen nothing to help this game beyond so many new players; so many in fact the servers are crashing more often now.

Not worth the price, get it on sale, as is/was at launch and all the DLC it has. Only becomes worthwhile when playing on heavily customized (modded) servers.

Early Access Review
One of the best zombie survival games out there; if not the best. And it it still being worked on and added to, so it only gets better. Also better if played with mods used.

A game that should have been priced at 30 or less since it's DLC will not be free like L4D, it is also not good to play unless you are on new high end systems.

The beta builds for Firefall in 2012 were so much better than this current build, and by that I mean around Aug/Sept/Oct time; cuase I didn't really get to play the beta as much as I would have, since something happened to my client, it's wouldn't run or even uninstall. I didn't get to play Firefall again till it was on steam a week or so ago.

They took most, if not all, the fun out of this game. The areas are level based now, I remember being able to roam the whole map just about. The random events are gone as far as I can see. No more invasions by the melting or chosen, I remember watchtowers being attacked all the time, and random invasions here and there; don't see any happening now. The crashed thumpers and LGV's are still here, but seem to be fewer than before to me.

Then there's the crafting and reaserch. There wasn't any research when I was playing beta. I don't mind it, but they put in TOO much; it needs to be combined and have AT LEAST 50% of it cut out. Either that or make a lot of other ways to get reaserch points other than savalaging, or reduce the points costs as well. And what happened to all the minerals? There's nothing but sand/dirt and iron now that I found around the starting area, there used to be at least a third mineral too around the starting area.

I also remember a horizontal skill/gear/weapon tree that you got a point (or whatever) to spend on every level up for a frame; that was option based, as in every level of the tree had at least two choices (such as between two weapons, a weapon or skill, booster/gear item or something else, and etc.) and you could always wait another level to get the second (or other choices) if you wanted both (or all). There was also a particular "upgrade" path to advanced frame 1 or advanced frame 2, so you could get to an better frame quick if so wanted, or both advanced frames.

And there's durablity now, and for EVERYTHING? Wasn't in the beta and we don't need it.

I'd really like to know wtf happened to this game, it was so much better in the beta when I played it. Which is usually the opposite of betas/games I've played, usually the beta sux more so then the release for a game; but not this time, firefall beta was much better then released firefall.

March 1 - This game should not be listed under a multiplayer tag at all. And calling it a MMO is stretching it as well. This should have been listed under single player tag with options to download to raid other players' castles and posting your own.

If you dev's truely wish to keep the MP and MMO tags; you guys should add in joint/team raiding, and even castle sharing.

Also the costs and requirements for building up defenses for a castle are too high, and a castle building tutorial that covers EVERYTHING is needed.
